Did anybody hear Nancy Pelosi on "Russert" sunday? I almost threw up listening to her.

Typical liberal double talk, & attempt to dodge Russert's questions when he asked 'if' the dems gain control of the house, or senate, "Will they seek to impeach president Bush"?

She says thats NOT their agenda, & so Russert asked if thats then off the table, ..& she said, "WHY NO"?

She also said that they would be launching 'investigations' into many things.

Imagine, ..Nancy Pelosi as speaker of the house;..I'm nauseous already!

Impeach him for what? Speaking as a liberal, I sure hope they do not try to impeach him. In my opinion, impeachment should be reserved for more serious thinsg that policy differences. If they do try, it will only up the ante on rancor and we can expect attempts at impeachment for every President.

Well, just to get us back on our track of disagreement, I don't think Clinton should have been impeached for perjury. That better? :)

will dems try impeachment, 'if' they get majority?
ROTFLMAO.

That is exactly what the Dems are going to do. There isn't a shred of doubt they'll do exactly that.

If they don't achieve majority, there's enougn RINO Republican stooges they'll try impeachment even from a Dem minority position.

Anyone, anyone....anyone....Buehler??? As of 12/18/05...
In an interview last week, Rep. Tom Davis, R-Va., chairman of the House Government Reform Committee, said "it's a fair comment" that the GOP-controlled Congress has done insufficient oversight and "ought to be" doing more.

"Republican Congresses tend to overinvestigate Democratic administrations and underinvestigate their own," said Davis, who added that he has tried to pick up some of the slack with his committee. "I get concerned we lose our separation of powers when one party controls both branches."

Democrats on the committee said the panel issued 1,052 subpoenas to investigate allegations of misconduct by the Clinton administration and the Democratic Party between 1997 and 2002. The Democratic analysis found that those congressional probes cost more than $35 million. By contrast, the committee under Davis has issued three subpoenas to the Bush administration, two to the Energy Department over nuclear waste disposal at Yucca Mountain, and one last week to the Defense Department over Hurricane Katrina documents.
