Susan <DEL>Ostrich</DEL> Estrich (http://www.creators.com/opinion_show.cfm?columnsName=ses) wants to know.
RELEASE: FRIDAY, MAY 5, 2006, AND THEREAFTER
WHERE IS DICK?
The news that Vice President and Mrs. Cheney would today be traveling to Lithuania, Kazakhstan and Croatia was significant for only one reason. It answered the burning question that Americans have been asking themselves as they stand at the gas pump filling their tanks, or marvel at missions unaccomplished around the world:
Where is the vice president? Where is Dick?
Where is the man who formulated this administration's energy policy? Remember him?
Where is the man who pushed hardest for the invasion of Iraq, was the channel for the "declassification" of information in order to leak it to the press to play hardball with the administration's critics?
Where is the man who many said was in charge on 9-11?
...
Remember when it was said, with pride, that Dick Cheney was the most powerful and influential vice president in history?
Is it only his poor shooting skills that have kept the vice president out of sight (as it were), and now have him headed on the kind of trip that Spiro Agnew would feel comfortable taking, or could it be the fact that he has proven to be wrong about everything he has touched?
