View Full Version : I applied to the Minutemen.

I thought my fellow posters might be interested that I decided to do something life changing - yesterday I applied to join the Minutemen. While I won't be able to go to the border until the second half of June, I decided that given that I am semi-retired, and tired of feeling helpless over our leadership (on so many issues) that I needed to do something more than vote, complain, or withhold my contributions to the nitwits in Washington.
So, assuming I pass their background check, I will be headed to either Arizona or New Mexico this summer. I will campout in my Jeep, and do what they need done. For how long, I don't know. But I will have a laptop and will login occasionally to let you'all know what is going on.
Enough is enough, and I need to do my share before the Republic is lost. I don't expect we will win, but then I thought communism was going to also win. To quote Whittker Chambers, former communist spy who later turned in Alger Hiss.."When I joiined the West, I knew I was joining the losing side".
Well, there is always hope. So off I will go...will "the men of the west" prevail?" I think not, but we must fight.
Just watch yer back and keep yer powder dry sir.

God be with you Max.
"There is a time for all things, a time to preach and a time to
pray, but those times have passed away. There is a time to fight,
and that time has now come."
-- Peter Muhlenberg (from a Lutheran sermon read at Woodstock,
Virginia, January 1776)

That's great, Max. I, too, have signed on. Time for patriots to be active.

You don't need to go to arizona, you need to lobby some support in your community to march on Washington and the scum mis-representing you.
Honesty to goodness, there have been enough "marches" to kill the band! Obviously Washington isn't listening when we are speaking, so perhaps our actions will be LOUDER than our words. I commend you, max, for putting legs to your convictions. That's not to say we shouldn't REMEMBER this come election time, oh no, we need to send a clear message that illegal apologists need not apply. It's just apparent that we as citizens will HAVE to do the job our government just isn't willing to do.

Max I'm mighty proud of you. I've been down there myself. Not with the Minutemen, with another group before the Minutemen. You will probably so far back in the boonies you won't get a cell signal. That's what happened to me. You'll get lots of advice on what to bring so I won't go there.
I wish I could continue to go but circumstances aren't with me.

Just remember that to the asswipes in DC, YOU are the enemy. If confrontations ensue, the "rights" of the Mexicriminals will prevail, and you will be harassed if not arrested for defending America against a Fox-sponsored invasion of the US.
Good luck, bro! You'll need it by the carload.

Vote no incumbent.
Unfortunately, California, like many other states, has a pretty good incumbent-protection racket, so that most of them, RINOs and Dems alike, have little to fear.

Ya, my vote in the SF Bay area is putting the yellow stuff in the wind...
But I figure if I do something, no matter how small, I know I've tried. The key to political action is for the identification of 'swing' votes and preesure on those Senators/Congressmen. Given that most of the anti-illegal forces are respectful think tank type organizations, there don't seem to be any widespread brass knuckle type politicos that will do that.

I'm proud of you for this action, Max. Best of luck. Let's hope some good comes of it.
so perhaps our actions will be LOUDER than our words.
I totally agree. I think the only action that will wake up Washington to the reality of the scum crossing our borders is a huge gun battle between Border Guards or even Minutemen (do be careful, Max, should that happen) and crossing Illegals and those helping them. I think war on the border is immenent.
