A teacher at West Boca Raton High School is under investigation after school district officials learned about risqué photos of her on a Web site.

Erica Chevillar, 25, is a first-year social studies teacher at the school. She is also one of about 80 models featured on the Web site of the USA National Bikini team, a Boca Raton-based company, according to the Web site. The site lists calendars for sale featuring scantily clad models dressed in bathing suits, provocative outfits or lingerie.

:smirky: I've got the home page downloading on another browser, & it's coming in s-l-o-w-l-y. Several of the babes are visible, & I don't see what all the fuss is about. The swimsuits look reasonably modest to me. What I'm seeing so far is a far cry from porn. Unless there are some more tawdry pictures on some of the site's other pages, then West Boca officials need to find another issue to bellyache about.

As for satellite, I have trees and mountains to the southwest, which is where the satellites are. The only one that might be accessible is the DirecPC aka Direcway aka Hughes satellite, and the horror stories about it abound on the Net.

Until Verizon brings DSL up here (which they won't because the customer base doesn't justify it), I'm stuck with mid-80s Web access. It's one of the few drawbacks of living away from the Big City.
