BOSTON — A plane carrying U.S. Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (http://javascript<b></b>:siteSearch('Sen. Edward M. Kennedy');) from western Massachusetts (http://javascript<b></b>:siteSearch('Massachusetts');) to his home on the coast was struck by lightning Saturday and had to be diverted to New Haven, Conn., his spokeswoman said.

Okay this proves it, he has made a deal with the devil since he is the only surviving son and has had so many near misses it's not even funny anymore, it's just creepy.

What they didn't report is that just after the lightning struck the plane, a loud booming voice coming from outside the plane was heard to say "Damn! Missed again!"

You would think with all of the methane is his liver, it would have blown up the plane.

Thank God, no one was hurt. I would have preferred the lightning strike had happened when he was disembarking with his suitcase full of Chivas.

It wasn't lightning, it was a "laser" Cheney had Haliburton fire at the plane to keep things hush hush. Kennedy is getting close, perhaps to close.

Any aircraft big enough to transport that porcine prick should be impervious to little things like lightning.

So that's the reason for the all-invading smell of fried pork. I thought it was the neighbors' cooking.

Unfortunately in this case, a properly bonded aircraft will safely absorb a lightning strike. Its a common occurance.

God doesn't miss. He just wanted to give the conservative web reason to have some fun and laugh. With a fat alcoholic like Pervo-Ted, it is divine intervention that he hasn't keeled over long before now. God keeps calling Pervo-Ted to repent, giving him chance after chance...

Somehow, the words, "bonded" and "Ted Kennedy", put together give me the willies.

Most people would consider that as a wake-up call from God...Not old fat Ted, he will blame Bush and global warming!

At least his mistress had clean underwear waiting for him when he disembarked.

This seems so terribly wrong, especially in the light of this (http://msnbc.msn.com/id/12467604/).

It's bonded, not bondage.

I wonder if Mary Jo ever thought she had "bonded" with him . . .

That's a damned shame... that the plane didn't go down.
