A third party. I think that if such a thing were to happen, disaffected democrats would join too.

I like it too. I worry about a Perot-like repeat but sometimes it takes a defeat to wake people up and get things back in line where they are supposed to be. Bush is globalist hack and he better take note of all this as he is striking a blow to the GOP.

He lamented that the conservative movement has been rewarded by the president for its support with "an amnesty plan for illegal immigrants."
"We've been rewarded with a war in Iraq drags on because of the failure to provide adequate resources at the beginning, and with exactly the sort of 'nation-building' that candidate Bush said he opposed," the conservative patriarch went on to say.
He also called congressional Republicans "unprincipled power brokers", whose agenda "comes from big business".

Bush is not running for re-election.

The Republicans who are running are scared to death to annoy the partisan media. The president has nobody in his corner. The GOP is AWOL.

Anyone who cites the liberation of Iraq as an example of "nation building" that the CANDIDATE opposed is quite simply a fool whose words are meaningless. What we did in Iraq was to disarm an enemy who was the world's leading sponsor of international terror. That was self defense, not nation building. If anyone disagrees, please notify me now so that I may put your words of stupidity permanatly on ignore.

You don't "liberate" an enemy, you defeat them. You don't "disarm" an enemy soldier, you kill him. You don't worry about a state of the art electrical grid, water purification, putting girls in schoolrooms, and opening medical clinics during an invasion, you try to win a war instead. Pissing away a half trillion dollars worrying about the feelings and social welfare of a mob of Iraqi moslems who will revert to type ten minutes after the last US Marine leaves IS a useless nation building. Feel free to put me on ignore, if you can't deal with it.

The Iraqi people were never our enemy. The Hussein regime was. We defeated them. Hussein is on trial. His sons are dead. His reign is history. Democracy has come to Iraq, and the people of Iraq know who to thank. And they do, by the way.

You don't "disarm" an enemy soldier, you kill him.
No, you defeat him. When the war is over, the enemy soldier returns home.

You don't worry about a state of the art electrical grid, water purification, putting girls in schoolrooms, and opening medical clinics during an invasion, you try to win a war instead.
We won the war. These things are part of the reconstruction. Iraq has a democratically elected government.

Did you ever hear about the Marshall Plan before you dropped out of school? What we are doing in Iraq is expanding freedom and democracy to an oppressed people, which has the return effect of stabilizing the region.

Feel free to put me on ignore, if you can't deal with it.
Can't deal with what, abject stupidity, mind numbing ignorance and a complete lack of comprehension? I face that with libs every day. If you're too stupid to comprehend that the world changed after 9/11, then I suggest you get up,go to the nearest concrete block or brick wall, and smash your pointy head against it until your melon cracks and the red stuff runs out. We don't need you. There are plenty of idiots in America, and more coming in every day.
