HURST -- A former L.D. Bell High School theater student accused of spiking a rival's drink with bleach in February surrendered Wednesday to Tarrant County authorities.

Test results confirmed that the drink contained components of bleach, according to police reports.

Katherine Smith, 18, of Hurst surrendered to Tarrant County authorities in Fort Worth about 1 p.m., more than a week after a warrant was issued for her arrest.

The arrest warrant charged Smith with tampering with a consumer product, a second-degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Smith was released after posting $2,500 bail. She could not be reached Wednesday.

Smith is accused of putting bleach in a Mountain Dew and then handing it to a 16-year-old sophomore. The 16-year-old had the lead role in a school theater production, and Smith, who was the understudy, wanted the role, police said........http://www.topix.net/content/kri/1176076394093929214622735182513832640352

And you wonder why when they finally make it to Hollywood, they're so fuked up.... it begins in Drama class.

Ah, drama! Who doesn't enjoy a little real-life Peyton Place? Speaking of drama, try reading this personal statement from the principal of the drama queen's high school without laughing your head off:

"I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am Jim Bannister, and I am the principal at L.D. Bell High School. I am very excited to be able to write the previous sentence. . . I risk boring you with all of that to make this point: L.D. Bell is a special place for me. The reason that Bell is special is simple. It’s the people. It’s the parents, the community and the staff, but mostly, it’s the kids. I hope that Bell comes to be a special place for you as well."

It's the honesty! It's the soul-baring warmth! It's the risk of vulnerability! Who can ignore his call:

"I want you to love this school, but, more than that, I want you to love ME! Please, love me! I'm so lonely in this office reading this idiotic mission statement and watering the ferns! GET ME OUT OF HERE!"

What to do next is clear. We obviously need to ban bleach.....and right away too.....think of the children!

Actually, we should file a class action suit against Clorox, because it does not CLEARLY STATE on the label that their product should not be used as a mixture in soda drinks!

Ten to one, some shitbird liberal somewhere will bring this up before a judge, who will rule against the company.
