When young Schylure Warner told his parents there was a mountain lion lurking in their yard and peering through his bedroom window, they were skeptical, believing their son's imagination was getting the best of him.
The next day, a mountain lion snatched the family's cat virtually from beneath the legs of Schylure's mom, Carrie Ann Warner.

I am an animal lover -- I am so very grateful for the animals the Lord provided on earth, but I have no problem with the termination of this animal. They've tried to trap him, he's not biting (pun if you like, :smirky: ). He is not afraid to be around people, that's dangerous. Put him down.

The animal has got to be eliminated. I can't imagine having an animal try to get into my house in order to hurt my family.

Do a King Kong on him -- you know, break his jaws.

As a proud graduate of the University of Houston, I have to admit I'm torn.

Sounds like the cougar was being a cougar and found a food source. An animal will keep going back to the same area if someone's feeding it.
This cat should be caught and relocated. At least put it in a zoo or something.

==================
People that feed wild animals eliminate a wild animal's fear of humans. This leads to the animals changing their territory to accomodate a new food source. In Pennsylvania, the same problem surfaced with black bears. The solution was to put steel dumpsters for garbage a distance from the cabins. I'd hate to see a beautiful animal destroyed because someone was feeding it.

What's interesting to me is that this is "news". When did we reach a point in this country that such a thing rates more than a passing "Hey, shoulda saw what I shot last night!" at the local greasy spoon? Shoot, shovel, shut up. The fact it is, instead, "OH MY GOD! Somebody please do something!" is just one more comment on our utterly helpless society.

Well, I think they shoulda shot the cat, skinned it and hung it on the wall. And fed the entrails to the entrails-eaters and et the meat theirselfs. Cat meat ain't bad.

Sorry Guys I think we need to kill the family and then the Neighbors.
It's obviously upsetting the Cat. And if that doesn't work we should kill off the whole town of Evergreen......Hey the rest of you people in Colorado better hope that works .
2A You are completely right. If a wild animal is causing any kind of trouble on your land you should be able to kill the damn thing!
