Somehow a passenger lost his teeth down the toilet in the rear of a bus. I was told by the Operations Manager on duty to take the bus to the shop, with the passenger, to get his teeth. Clarence Finnell was the car cleaner at the shop. I pulled the bus over the dump, Clarence pulled the lever on the lav, and everything in the holding tank fell into a strainer-looking device he held under the drain pipe. Clarence showed the strainer, with it's mixture of solid waste, toilet paper, and teeth to the passenger and said "here you are...." The man reached in, grabbed his teeth, rinsed them off, popped them back into his mouth, said "thank you", and got back on the bus. I nearly lost it. I couldn't believe what I had just seen.
