If so, what's been your experience and which ones are you using? I could use a good program if it exists.

I used DragonDictate a lot at my old job as a Network Admin. Over the years, Dragon and IBM generally have been the most robust and best quality VR (voice recognition) programs out there.
I would go with the IBM Via Voice nowadays. You can get the standard version at your local Staples or OfficeMax for $50 or so.

Dragon usually gets the best reviews. Just don't expect good accuracy. Voice recognition for PCs is still an inexact science. Most of the computer magazines view this type of software as more of an interesting toy with a marginal amount of utility, rather than a true tool.

It has improved a lot since it was first introduced in late 80's. Dragon usually does get the best reviews, but I can personally attest to it's finickiness. Especially when it comes to it's driver, sound card and microphone support. Greanted this was a few years ago. However, IBM generally has better accuracy.
