I am sorry to hear of his death. :(

He was one of the important producers/creators in TV history. Even if most of his efforts were fluffy crap, he kept wanna-be MST3Kers in business for years. As well as almost single-handedly keep 70's TV afloat.

RIP Aaron. You will be missed.

May the Lord be with his family, friends and loved ones, and send comfort in their time of grief.

Ditto Home. :)

He is now sitting in the Great Director's Chair in Heaven. And the best part? He does not have to put up with his daughter there.

Talk about shock. Tori Spelling learned of her father's death from a friend last week as she dined in Toronto, instead of from her mother, Candy. The news at that point had already come out on TV and radio reports. Aaron Spelling died on June 23.

That means some guy who parks cars at Spago in Los Angeles probably learned of Aaron Spelling's death before Spelling's daughter did.

"A friend of mine had seen a TV report, and e-mailed me," Tori Spelling tells Us magazine. "And I was just in total shock. My first thought was, 'I can't believe my mom didn't call me!'"

In the Us Weekly story, a copy of which was obtained by E! Online, Tori Spelling recounts her long-running feud with her mom, but claims she was on good terms with her legendary TV producer father.

"My mom's behavior simply made me uncomfortable to be around my family," Tori Spelling says in the magazine. Spelling was most upset that her mother was spending time with a longtime family friend, Mark Abramson, while her father's health deteriorated. Candy Spelling has denied there was a romance with Abramson, who introduced the Spellings about 38 years ago, according to Fox News.

See? Money doesn't buy happiness! Being rich is a bitch--or makes you one.

Sorry to have heard the news about Aaron Spelling's passing, I think he was a genuis at what he did, he had a gift for knowing exactly what Americans wanted to see, he did his job well.

True, all the money and fame in the world can't fix some problems. Tori lives in one of the most affluent parts of the world, yet Hollywood's residents are some of the most miserable of all.
