HAZLETON, Pa. — Illegal immigrants seeking to make a home in this northeastern Pennsylvania city could face barriers to finding a home and job after the city council passed one of the nation's strictest ordinances to fight illegal immigration.

City documents would be printed in English, landlords would face $1,000 fines for each illegal immigrant found renting their properties and business who employ illegal immigrants wouldn't be granted licenses.

I need to move there.

I live in an area that does nothing but coddle illegals.

On a street corner close to my church, the city provided port-a-potties for all of the illegals who congregate there waiting for people to pick them up for (obviously off the books) jobs.

Could they provide me a free port-a-potty so I can save on water every time I have to take a leak? (I'll use the flusher for No. 2s, thank you.)

Those illegals are just like cockroaches. They bring in all their relatives and before you know it, you've got 20 cars parked on both sides of the street and there's at least 10 people living in the house making noise, day and night and they won't cut their grass or pick up their trash. Plus they'll play their car stereos and make your house vibrate from the bass and you won't be able to set your home alarm.

You wanna see your property value go into the $hitter? Let them move in next door to you.

I'm glad they're doing something about their human cockroach infestation problem. I'm glad someone's got some balls.

That's supposed to be the toughest anti-illegal immigrant ordinance passed in the country so far, doing it on the local level might just be the most efficient way after all.
