Democratic chairman speaks at conference

Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean [while high on LSD] accused President Bush last night of being weak on national defense and absent in the escalating violence between Israel and Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon.

In remarks at San Diego State University, Dean urged activists to fan across the nation – including deep into the heart of Republican-rich “red” states – to tell voters that Bush has failed as president – including in national defense, which Republicans tout as their core strength.

“There are a lot of things we can say when we knock on the door (of voters),” Dean told hundreds at San Diego State's Open Air Theatre.
“You know, people say the Republicans are tough on defense. How can you be tough on defense if five years after 9/11, Osama bin Laden is still at large, the Iranians are about to get nuclear weapons, North Korea's quadrupled their nuclear weapons stash. . . .

“Explain to me how it is that this president is tough on defense? I think this president is weak on defense and he's hurt America because he hasn't done the right thing,” Dean said.

Dean was the keynote speaker on the second day of a three-day conference called DemocracyFest, billed as part conference, part festival for progressive activists.

If one of them comes knocking at my door, they will undoubtably get an ear full, if not a snoot full. I may really, really dislike illegals, but I absolutely despise liberals and democrats.

There is only one way Bush could put an end to the predations of Iran and North Korea, that's to put them under military occupation. There is no way to diplomatically negotiate with people who want to kill you.

A man put it this way.

I need a raise so I go to my boss with all my talking points about why I need a raise.

My boss has made a decision to fire me and set aside time to have our exit interview.

I am called to my bosses office.

How do I negotiate the raise?

There is no negotiating with a blood-enemy.

Howard Dean attacking Bush on defense is akin to Chamberlain berating Churchill.

The only ones that would want to rap him over the head are sensible Democrats, who would realize that he's making their party--and them--look like fools. However, there may be no sensible Democrats left.

I thought the 'crats thought it wouldn't matter if you killed Osama. That, like Zarqawi, if you did kill him another 15,000 would take his place. But, they are screaming 'Where's Osama?'

So, which is it, DEAN? Git yer fukin story straight.

You're right Doc.....I appologize to all pissants for the blatherskite remark comparing Dean to such industrious little life forms. Dean is pond scum that other pond scum voided after their last meal.

Basically Dean is crap in a suit.
