Sony has been coming out with some tough encryption but I've been able to get through it.

I have the capability to make archival copies—the box is equipped with AnyDVD, kept up to date—but thusfar I don't bother. Living alone means no little fingers to lose, damage or destroy the originals.

Use DVD Decrypter. It's free and the latest can break through the encryption.

I just use p2p and make my own, via my DVD burner and Nero. Far less to worry about as far as encryption goes and I have total control over the process. Not to mention, I can obtain and put things together that you never could buy on DVD or VHS for that matter.

Not anymore.

This software is no longer available, this page is stored for archival puposes only.

On 24th of November, 2005, Macrovision Europe contacted AfterDawn.com, notifying us that they have acquired full rights to the DVD Decrypter software and have changed its licensing terms. Effective immediately, they have decided to withdraw all distribution rights from all third party companies, including AfterDawn.com. Thus, distributing DVD Decrypter is now as illegal as it would be to distribute cracked copies of Windows operating system or pirated copies of games.http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_decrypter.cfm

You can still download it at some third party sites, but that likely won't last long.

No, but blutach the poster with the country of Australia as his avatar has a bunch of downloads listed under his signature.

dfab 2.9 decrypter can be found just on google searches

Another new one that works well is "ripit4me"
