McDONOUGH, Ga. — A mother accused of cutting off part of her son's tongue with hot scissors avoided a 5-year prison sentence and was sentenced to 10 years probation.....

.....Henry County prosecutors had recommended that Davis serve five years in prison. But the boy's father testified Tuesday that he did not want her to go to prison.

"He told the judge she is a good woman, and he doesn't feel his son is unsafe around her," Davis' lawyer, Rickey L. Richardson, said.

Davis heated a pair of scissors on a stove in August 2004 and held it to her 6-year-old son's neck before cutting off a piece of his tongue as punishment for talking back, authorities said. The "mother" needs to be in prison for life. The "father" is obviously unfit to procreate, so we should preserve the gene pool by castrating him with hot scissors.

My sister just told me a sad story that just happened in Central Oregon. A big strong man in Prineville Oregon brutilized and molested a 4 year old boy. The little boy was covered with bruises, his bowels were ruptured, he had been tortured. It was his stepfather supposedly. The Hospital kept him alive on life support for over a day. They said it was one of the worst they had seen.

The news said "he wasn't a felon in Oregon", indicating that he was a felon someplace. I say the Judge that turned this piece of slime lose on society should do the same sentence this guy gets for this brutality.
