Manhunt on for Minnesota Man Who Killed 10 Puppies in Spat With Girlfriend

Thursday, August 03, 2006

ST. PAUL — Police said a St. Paul man who killed 10 pit bull puppies during an argument with his girlfriend as several people watched, then threw the bodies in a trash bin, could be charged with cruelty to animals.

Officers found the dead puppies, with broken necks, in a commercial trash bin. The remains were removed by the city's animal control officers.

Authorities were looking for the suspect, who owned the dogs.

Witnesses saw the man kill the puppies at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in front of his girlfriend, then threatened to do the same to her. Police were also investigating the alleged threats.

Witnesses said the argument started inside the apartment building when the girlfriend refused to give the man and his dogs a ride home.......http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,206852,00.html

Anyone who would do this to puppies would do it to people. The bastard needs to be removed from society by whatever means are necessary.

Yeah. He'll get a $100 fine.

It's really tragic that the punishments meted out are almost always a miniscule fraction of what is possible under the law.

So why isn't the SOB named in the story? Are they afraid someone might take the law into his own hands?

I don't know but if you see a "18 to 20 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 pounds. He is black, had long hair in braids, had a gap in his teeth and was said to have eyes that are askew. He was wearing a blue jersey with yellow letters." have at him!

I don't think they know his name. They didn't name the girlfriend either, though they named the witnesses.

Well, considering that when being charged with a crime, a person is usually punished for EACH INSTANCE of said crime, the possibilities here are, happily, a great deal more than most would realize:

That would work out to Not more than 40 years in prison, or $400,000 in fines.

But you are correct, too many liberal judges consider the "Not more than 40 years in prison" to mean, 1 year in prison is a sufficient sentence. The details are in the advertising.

Much like those battery commercials for digital cameras. "Our battery can take up to 9,000 photos, compared to the OTHER battery that can only take 60 photos."

Well, my battery can only take 2 pictures, but when I advertise it, I'll just say it takes UP TO 13,000 pictures. As 2 is on the way "up to" 13,000.

Usually when you have a guy do this to animals then threaten to do it to the woman, you KNOW full well he WILL eventually do it to her.

People like this are budding Serial Killers who have absolutely no thought of killing the most helpless of God's creatures, once they get used to that they go to the next level.

This guy is seriously disturbed and is a very serious threat to society as a whole.

EVERY clinical psychologist has stated that every serial killer has started out killing the most helpless they could find, cats, dogs etc, then moved up the line to humans, children, kids then.... adults.

This sick sumbitch needs to be put out of OUR misery ASAP.

I wouldnt suffer him to live one moment.

While I completely agree with the fact that it takes a real sick person to kill 10 puppies especially for the reason he did; however.com if it had been a different breed of dog I would have been much more upset! I'm sorry but I don't have a lot of compassion for pit bulls.

 Yeah, especially since the perp is only 5 ft, 8 in, & only weighs 150 lbs. Leave it to some judge to take pity on him, & say that he wouldn't be safe in prison.

EVERY clinical psychologist has stated that every serial killer has started out killing the most helpless they could find, cats, dogs etc.......Not really true, but it is common.

Yet not all serial killers take their aggressions out on pets. Dennis Nilsen loved animals, particularly his dog Bleep, whom he couldn't bear to face after being arrested for fear that it would traumatize the dog. Rapist torturer and murderer of eight, Christopher Wilder, had made donations to Save The Whales and the Seal Rescue Fund.http://www.crimelibrary.com/serial_killers/notorious/tick/5b.html

The opposite end of the scale is also true. There is probably an equal percentage that wouldn't harm a fly yet harm others.

True, there are many PETA types who would rescue a pet and let a child die in a fire.

Animal rights activists often lose all perspective and begin to see the lives of animals more worthy of protection than the lives of humans. An example would be the acts of terrorism against institutions performing medical experiments on animals.

As for the pit bull comment, I do understand how other breeds merit more compassion than pit bulls. But these are still pups and not dangerous. I don't have a pit bull but I do know they are truly good pets when they're raised properly.

This incident occured in the neck of the woods where I live. I can assure you that there is no big MANHUNT for this guy. Media hype.

I'd like to know why those witnesses didn't intervene. Sissy-asses. If I had seen that bad-ass, cross-eyed bastard abusing those pups, I would have done something. Wouldn't you?

It's my understanding that the American Staffordshire Terrier [Pit Bull] is a very gentle dog and a great familly dog if raised properly.

As to the googly-eyed cretin, he'll turn up. He's that stupid. He'll turn up, and when he does, the cops'll nab him.

A judge will slap him on the wrist.

The girlfriend [or the next one, or the next one] will end up dead, or nearly dead.

A judge will slap him on the wrist.

When the braided heathen finally kills someone, then he'll serve some prison time.

Just a prediction.

I really don't feel like being charged with a hate crime over 10 puppies.

I would have risked my own life for those puppies.
Sounds stupid, but it's true.
I can just see it now....a bunch of inner city "folks" watching the whole fiasco and not lifting a gawldarned finger to do anything about it. Yet those so-called witnesses come out in droves with big mouths flapping when the POH-LICE arrive. Cripes.

I'd like to see some judge throw the book at this guy (e.g., by giving him consecutive, rather than concurrent sentences), then watch the ACLU and PETA on opposite sides of a fight over whether the sentence was too severe.

As for the pit bull comment, I do understand how other breeds merit more compassion than pit bulls. But these are still pups and not dangerous.

My best friend growing up had his daughter mauled by a pit bull that required her to receive nearly 300 stitches. And most stories I hear of mauling are from pit bulls.

I have never seen a Cocker Spaniel mauling???

I don't have a pit bull but I do know they are truly good pets when they're raised properly.

So are kids but we still have murder and rapes!

The problem I see is that we have too many of this breed that are not raised properly and pose a threat to kids!!!
