A Small restaurant (I forget the name) in Toulon France. Myself and a few friends from my ship went out sight seeing, stopped in this small place to have dinner, and the food was incredible.
7. What was the best city/town you have ever visited?
Haifa Israel. Not the best in terms of being clean, or "friendly". But was the most interesting city I have ever visited.
8. What was the best Job you ever had?
My first job, when I was in High school, Usher at a local cinema.
9. What was the best thing that ever happened to you?
No contest... Birth.
10. What was the best entertainment you have been to...concert, play, recital,
Grateful Dead: Pine Knob, Michigan / Hank Williams Jr.: Pine Knob, Michigan / Stryper - In God We Trust Tour: Cobo Hall, Detroit / Alice Cooper: Pine Knob, Michigan
Kind of cute story about the Stryper concert:
My girlfriend and I went, and right behind us was a mother and father that brought their young daughter, she looked to be about 10 or 11 years old, and was quite possibly one of Stryper's biggest fans.
Through-out the concert, this girl was screaming like you see girls in video clips of Beatles Concerts. It was "slightly" annoying, but I also found it kind of funny in a "cute" way. Michael Sweet steps up to the Mic, and the band begins to play "Honestly", a slow ballad. Well, people begin pulling out the lighters and holding them up. I heard the young girl behind me kind of gasp at seeing all the lighters, and I turned around, and her eyes were wide checking out all the flames around the audience (Cobo Hall is a HUGE place).
About 30 seconds into the song, Michael Sweet stopped singing and told the band to stop, which after a second or two they did. Then Michael looked out into the crowd and asked "Please, everyone, please, put out the lighters." And slowly you see flames go out here and there, eventually, most all lighters were off.
Then Michael asked for them to bring the lights down, and all the stage lights and spot lights were turned off except for a violet spot light on him. Pitch black inside Cobo Hall.
Michael's next words were: "Ok Detroit, Let's see the light!" and nearly every single person in Cobo lit a lighter, myself included. The girl behind me damn near fainted. I hear "Oh WOW!" from behind me, and this little girl is about to pass out. So I handed her my lighter. She looked at her mother, but didn't say anything, and didn't take my lighter until her mother said "Ok, but be careful".
Then her mother thanked me, told me how much her daughter loves Stryper, and told me I probably wouldn't have any fluid left in it after the show. I told her not to worry about it, I have another in the car. I don't know how the girl did it without burning her thumb, but she kept that lighter lit nearly non stop through the concert. And I know it probably made her entire night.

Questions
1. What Is the best TV show on TV?
I dunno. How do I choose? Maybe House or Law & Order. Of course there's a difference between a show being the best, and a show being my favorite. Still it's hard to say.
2. What was the best movie you have ever seen?
Again it's hard to say. There were so many that I've seen that were brilliantly made. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly was one of them.
3. What was the best CD,Tape Or Record you have ever owned?
The best? Probably Days of Future Passed-- The Moody Blues, with the London Festival Orchestra, Conducted by Peter Knight.
4. Who is the best Actor/Actress?
Ever? Maybe Cary Grant?
5. Who is the best Human on earth?
Best human. That's a strange question. No man is good, but relatively speaking, Geez, I don't know. Billy Graham or someone like that. Maybe D. James Kennedy.
6. What is the best Restaurant you have ever eaten in?
Hard to say. Well there was this little cafe in Kansas along I-70 that I ate at while driving my antique ambulance home from Denver several years ago. I don't remember the name of it. But the place was great. It was absolutely tiny, but I was treated like their best customer.
7. What was the best city/town you have ever visited?
Gee. What makes a city/town good or bad? I dunno. But I love NYC.
8. What was the best Job you ever had?
That's easy. That was when I was a summer-seasonal worker for the State Park system, at a local State Forest. Unfortunately I got laid off every October, and was paid very poorly. But I loved my job, and everything about it.
9. What was the best thing that ever happened to you?
When I accepted Christ in 1974. Other than that, maybe when I broke up with my live-in girlfriend for the last time, about 10 years ago.
10. What was the best entertainment you have been to...concert, play, recital, sporting event?
Another easy one. A Moody Blues concert at the Mark Ettess Arena in the Trump TaJ Mahal casino in Atlantic City, sometime around 1992 or 93.
The Moody Blues and their orchestra were great, the seat we had was great even though it was like the 22nd row or something. The arena was air condition too. What more could I have asked for? It was perfect. Incidentally, that was the only concert I ever went to.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

The day I decided to quit giving a flying rats ass what people thought and became my own person.
