I no longer accept that we are only at war with Islamic fascists or Islamic fundamentalists or whatever the heck we’re calling them this week. I believe that we in the West are at war with Islam, period. I have heard any number of politicians, up to and including President Bush, claim, contrary to all reason and evidence, that Islam is a religion of peace. If you buy that load of malarkey, I’ve got a Brooklyn mosque I’d like to sell you.

In 1943, the 442nd Regimental Combat Team was formed. It consisted of young Japanese-American men. In spite of the fact that the Nisei faced widespread prejudice in America, and in spite of the fact that their own families had been imprisoned by the federal government at Manzanar and various other concentration camps, these volunteers became the most decorated combat unit of its size during World War II. It was thanks to their sacrificial efforts that over 200 members of the 36th Texas Division, the so-called Lost Division, were rescued from certain slaughter at the hands of the Germans. It was during this battle in France’s Vosges mountains that Second Lt. Daniel K. Inouye, later to be elected to the U.S. Senate, lost his right arm and earned the Congressional Medal of Honor. Astonishingly, his was only one of 21 such medals won by the relatively small group. The unit became legendary, known as the “Go for Broke” guys who fought for their country and their honor, collecting nearly 10,000 Purple Hearts and a nation’s gratitude along the way.
On the other hand, what do we hear from America’s Muslims? Silence when it comes to military service, bellyaching when it comes to ridiculous claims of racial profiling.

This is exactly what I've been preaching from day one.

This is exactly why no one will ever convince me that a Moderate Muslim exists.

This is exactly why I live by the Creedo: Never trust Muslim. Over here or over there.

The only thing I know so far about the Muslims serving in our military is that all sorts of special concessions have to be made for them because of their religion, and that one rolled a grenade into a tent of sleeping commrades, killing several.

If I was in uniform, serving along side an "American" Muslim in uniform, I would never shut my eyes to sleep. I'd rather be in a foxhole with a Frenchman than a Muslim. At least you could be pretty sure that all the Frenchman would do is tuck tail and run. The Muslim would more than likely slit your throat if given half a chance.

These "American Muslims" could learn something from this piece of history. A group of Japanese-Americans weren't happy with what their motherland was doing or their allies, Germany, so they did what was right. I guess Arabs don't know what is right.

Also, don't forget the tens of thousands of Americans of German descent (some only one or two generations removed from Ellis Island) who served in both theaters. This is one of the greatest differences between Americans and Muslims. People used to come to America to become Americans. Today they come to America to establish a little piece of thier own country. Even with the "Little Italys", "Chinatowns" and "Russian Streets" that were the norm in some areas, these folks came to America to be Americans. When the chips were down, their "Mother Country" was not Germany, Japan, Armenia, Luxembourg or whatever country they left, but Americans. Today's Muslims are not here to be Americans, they are here to be Arabs/Indonesians/Persians and they are not becoming Americans.

We cannot live with these mad dogs... But we as a nation and we as a Western Culture are not prepared to face this fact yet... More innocent lives will be lost to this evil cult before we find the guts to erase this cancer from the world...

If you list all the violent acts and conflicts, big and small, what have occurred around the world in the last 20 years, you will find that 90% of them have a single common thread running thru them - They all involve some Muslim group at war with some non-Muslim group...

Islam intends to enslave the world, or kill those who will not be slaves... Anyone who refuses to admit this is just foolishly and muleishly refusing to face a truth of life... Islam is at war with the non-muslim world - the sooner we admit this openly and decide to join in this war instead of playing at political correctness, the more innocent lives will be saved...

The 442cnd was not asked to fight against Japanese trops. They went to the German frontier.
So, I don't think I would ask Muslims to fight Muslims. But there are many positions in the military that are non combat.
As lubbock said, you couldn't sleep if you had Muslims in your unit. Is there another Muslim besides Islam?
Nor could you trust a Muslim unit to hold to the course you asked of it during combat.
To me, it would be very difficult to have them serving in the military.
