I sure hope Mr. Dabul is not a dead man walking for writing this.

Well, here it is, five years late, but here just the same: an apology from an Arab-American for 9/11. No, I didn't help organize the killers or contribute in any way to their terrible cause. However, I was one of millions of Arab-Americans who did the unspeakable on 9/11: nothing.

The only time I raised my voice in protest against these men who killed thousands of innocents in the name of Allah was behind closed doors, among the safety of friends and family...

Well that's one... And Im a reasonable man... If I hear enough who begin to declare that they are Americans and that this attack was on them too - if i hear enough of them beginning to come out of the closet and condemn these mad dogs, not for just 9/11 but for their ongoing war on the world, then I might be persuaded to accept them as contributing members of a free world...

Its a start... Im waiting...

Not me.

Only until they do a re-make of the 70's Coca-Cola commercial (http://rs6.loc.gov/ammem/ccmphtml/colaadv.html) will I trust their sincerity. Until then, its only one dude crying into his bowl o' Lucky Charms.

When they come out of the closets, they risk their lives. This man is courageous.

When they come out of the closets, they risk their lives. This man is courageous.Yes he may be - and I'll give him credit for this one statement... But when I think of how many American soldiers have traveled to foreign soil and bought someone else's freedom and never came home, I think its about time for the rest of this man's friends to come out of the closet and make their voices heard loud and continuous... I dont think its too much to ask, considering how much we non-Muslims have paid...

They can assume their reponsibility to contribute to this effort, or they can stay in their closets while the world burns and we are hunting down all Muslims...

Of all the nations in the world, the safest place for these people to step out and speak is here in the US... Besides, I thought they were all prepared to die for Allah, so what's there to fear?...

In this war, silence=collusion... We've had enough silence... I appreciate the article, and Im glad you posted it... Now I wanna see some action...

So, when does the Muslim hunt start? And how's that gonna jive with the whole "freedom of religion" thing anyway?

So, when does the Muslim hunt start?

I would prefer sometime before halftime over the fourth quarter for the full court press.

"Every single 9/11 hijacker was Arab and a Muslim. The apologists (including President Bush) tried to reassure us that 9/11 had nothing to do with Islam, but was a twisting of a great and noble religion." --Dabul, from EveningStar's link

The attack had nothing to do with being Arab. There are plenty of Jewish and Christian Arabs. The attack most certainly had everything to do with being Islamic. The apologist would be wise to leave the cult from Hell if he is Islamic.

The one thing ALL the murderers of 911 had in common was, was that they were all UGLY. I mean slap dab, downright FEARSOME ugly. So ugly they mamas fainted when they were presented with what they'd brought into the world. So ugly Mohammed shat little green apples all over the desert. Them boys wuz so ugly, Allah Hisself disowned their scurvy little asses and, rather than 72 virgins, surprised the boys with 72 boxes of vaseline and a herd of Tasmanian devils.

As with Laz, I'm a reasonable man. I would be willing to shake that man's hand and even befriend him. But also as Laz said, that's one. It'll take more than that for me to change how I feel about Arabs/Muslims in general.

Too little... too late. Y'all are better men than me. I'm not that "quick to forgive". He says he's sorry. Did he say he's no longer a Muslim? Did he say he no longer bows to the Nation Of Islam?

So long as there is a single follower, that abomination of a cult will continue to exist. And I'm sorry, but that is completely unacceptable.

Too little... too late.

I didn't say I was ready to forgive, Gonzo. Make no mistake on that. But, if this man wants to join me and be angry at his own people, I will welcome his anger joining mine.

Forgive? Most likely not in my lifetime.
