View Full Version : Rosie: Radical Christians pose Islamofascist threat
Rosie O'Donnell says "radical" Christians in America are just as much of a threat as the followers of radical Islam who piloted hijacked jetliners into New York's Twin Towers and the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001.
O'Donnell, the newest face on ABC's "The View," (http://www.wnd.com/redir/r.asp?http://abc.go.com/daytime/theview/) yesterday let her feelings fly after co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck noted militant Islam provides a threat to free people.
"Just a minute," she interrupted. "Radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a country like America where we have separation of church and state."

The radical lesbian needs to STFU. She forgets the "radical christians" she hates so much allow her to have her point of view and practice her perversion without fear of death. The same cannot be said for the terrorists she openly admires.

Yeah I'd love to see her go to their country and kiss her lover openly...
Anyway this is what happens when you give idiots a mike. When Christians blow themselves up, use their babies, behead, and fly planes into buildings, then we'll talk....

I really hate it when people blather on about things they know absolutely nothing about.
If by "radical" she means wanting everyone to receive forgiveness for their sins and have eternal life with the Lord, then I guess I fit the bill.
Oh wait....now I get it. I'm radical because I won't coddle her and tell her there's nothing wrong with being gay. And in her eyes that makes me as bad as someone who flies planes into buildings? That's a liberal for you!

You hit it on the head, Grace. That's what liberals call "radical Christians": those who do not condone their perversions.
Funny thing is, neither do the radical Islamofascists they protect so hysterically. Go figure.

They only like the Muslims because the Muslims hate Christians as much or more than they do.
I have a feeling the View will find it's raitings dropping....

The segment, which aired at 11:16AM EDT, saw Ms. O’Donnell open up and, for the first time as a ‘View’ host, express her true outlook. The piece began with Rosie inquiring as to whether anyone watched President Bush’s address to the nation. She then read from the speech: O’Donnell: "He had one sentence that I thought struck me. I thought, what did everyone think? ‘The safety of America depends on the outcome of the battle in the streets of Baghdad.’ And I would say the outcome, really, of America really depends on the battle in the streets of New Orleans, that that city is still decimated and $303 billion have been spent fighting this war. If, literally, a third of that money was put into Katrina and facilitated with honest people who knew how to do it, we wouldn't be in the situation we're in."
O’Donnell may be unaware of this, but $110 billion has been designated (http://www.nwanews.com/adg/national/164416/) for the Gulf Coast clean-up. My math could be wrong, but I believe that’s at least a third. Co-host Joy Behar, a fellow liberal, chimed in with this question: Behar: "Don’t you think it’s clear at this point that they don’t care about New Orleans? If they cared about it, they would have fixed it already."
The fact that she believes New Orleans should be completely "fixed" in a year is besides the point. ‘The View,’ a program that is supposed to represent the perspectives of women, is now almost completely in the control of Move-On-type liberals. Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the show’s token Republican (http://abc.go.com/daytime/theview/bios/elisabeth_hasselbeck.html), meekly submitted to the liberal onslaught. She replied simply, "They should give more."
O’Donnell saved her harshest comments for the war on terror. After Hasselbeck had the temerity to mention the threat of extreme Islam, Rosie responded with her slap at Christianity: O’Donnell: "And just one second, radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a country like America."
This proved too much for even Behar. She replied, in a somewhat bewildered manner: Behar: "But, but Christians are not threatening to kill us. There’s that difference. This group is threatening to kill us."
Hasselbeck also appeared surprised by O’Donnell’s comment. She maintained, "We are not bombing ourselves here in the country." The comedienne had a clever retort for this: O’Donnell: "No, but we are bombing innocent people in other countries. True or false?"

Why does that surprise you? The audience just LOVES it when the witches on stage bash the President, America or in this case Christians. It is one of the most liberal, men-bashing, feminazi cheerleading shows out there.
What exactly did she mean by "threatening?"
Flying planes into buildings and blowing themselves up in crowded pizza restaurants? No, not that I've heard of.
A threat to our liberty? Possibly.

Why does it surprise me... I guess because I never watched the show. I just figured it was 4 ladies sitting around chit-chatting. I had no idea it was a Liberal Commentary Outlet. :nono:

What's frightening is the applause after Rosie's comments. Marcster. It's not surprising. As Rush pointed out, the dyke's studio is in the fashionable (and hyperliberal) upper west side of N'Yawk, and that's where she gets her audience. The applause at her bigotry is fully expected.

Have a small taste:
Behar has been an outspoken critic of conservatives, stating that they are "so annoying".[15] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_View#_note-13) Jones Reynolds, in January 2006, compared the ego of U.S. President George W. Bush (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_W._Bush) to Osama bin Laden (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osama_bin_Laden).
"It's one thing to diss the Bush administration, it's treason to diss 'The View'!" said Behar

The same odd pattern happened for Meredith Vieira. Acting as what Barbara Walters called the "glue" that united the all-female panel on ABC's midday chat show "The View," Vieira came on the air on August 30, 2004, the Monday of the Republican convention, and declared -- no, boasted -- she had marched in an anti-Bush, anti-war protest in New York, a protest designed to ruin any political benefit for the GOP.
NBC News is now hiring her to replace Katie Couric as co-host of "Today," and NBC's going to hand her an eight-figure salary each year to bring her leftist biases along with her, replacing Katie in more ways than one. But John Green was suspended.
On this episode, Vieira insisted, "I didn't go anti-Bush or pro-Kerry. I'm still so upset about this war, and I'm so proud I live in a country where you can protest." She even showed a photo of herself marching with her pre-teen daughter Lily and her husband, Richard Cohen, who was the senior political producer at CBS News for most of the 1980s. Behind her in the photo: a protest sign featuring a "W," for George W. Bush, with a slash through it.

Meredith Vieira Fires Back at Conservative Critics
<!-- start main content --><!-- begin content --> Posted by Greg Sheffield (http://newsbusters.org/user/21) on April 12, 2006 - 10:59. http://us.news3.yimg.com/us.i2.yimg.com/p/ap/20060406/capt.nyrd10904062011.tv_vieira_nyrd109.jpg?x=380&y=286&sig=i5A9ioM2xigJDNGWcKAQ6g-- Meredith Vieira, set to become the new co-host of NBC's "Today," fired back at critics who said her anti-war activism (as noted by NewsBusters' Brent Baker (http://newsbusters.org/node/4778)) doesn't mean she's a liberal. Reports Gail Shister in the Philadelphia Inquirer (http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/entertainment/14312425.htm): An outspoken critic of the war in Iraq, Vieira says she's being unfairly labeled as a raving liberal by some right-wing bloggers. "I'm an independent. I'm not a Democrat or a Republican. I'm not particularly interested in politics, truth be told. Every time you read the paper, somebody lies about something [about the war.] I've been vocal about it.
"Every day there are new questions. I want to know why we are there, what the game plan is, what the discrepancies are between what we're being told and what's really going on. [Conservatives] can paint me as anything they want. I know what I am. I'm comfortable with the positions I've taken in my life."

I think she attributes threatening characteristics to a larger group than deserves it. I wonder, though, if there aren't in fact a portion of politically zealous Christians that would end religious freedom if they had the power to.
Fortunately, I think those types have more resemblance to Fred Phelps, and judging by how poorly his ideas are received even here, there's not a lot to worry about.

A threat to what sort of liberty, Bug? The "liberty" to f*** someone of your same gender? The "liberty" to kill innocent babies because momma just had to spread her legs? The "liberty" to f*** children as young as 4 years old, or younger? The "liberty" to rot your brain watching porn 24/7?
Are those the precious "liberties" you are so afraid of losing? Because if they are, then you are a loser already and I doubt you have much more to lose.

Oh, a "threat to our liberty". And just what kind of "liberty" are you so afraid of losing, Bug? The "liberty" to f*** someone of your same gender? The "liberty" to kill an innocent baby because momma spreads her legs at the drop of a hat? The "liberty" to rot your brain watching porn, and/or forcing taxpayers to subsidize it?
Is that what you are so afraid losing? Because if it is, then you are already a loser and I doubt you have much more to lose.

Are you calling yourself a radical Christian now?
The "liberty" to f*** someone of your same gender?
Sure. Why not? What business is it of the government's?
The "liberty" to kill an innocent baby because momma spreads her legs at the drop of a hat?
Nobody wants to kill babies.
The "liberty" to rot your brain watching porn, and/or forcing taxpayers to subsidize it?
Again I ask: What business is it of the government's
Is that what you are so afraid losing?
Not really, since I don't engage in any of those acts myself, but since you asked I felt compelled to answer.

Nobody wants to kill babies.
If lack of brain development is an acceptable reason to kill someone, then liberals should fear for their lives.
