View Full Version : Novak on that lying punk Armitage

When Richard Armitage finally acknowledged last week he was my source three years ago in revealing Valerie Plame Wilson as a CIA employee, the former deputy secretary of state’s interviews obscured what he really did. I want to set the record straight based on firsthand knowledge.
First, Armitage did not, as he now indicates, merely pass on something he had heard and that he ‘‘thought’’ might be so. Rather, he identified to me the CIA division where Mrs. Wilson worked, and said flatly that she recommended the mission to Niger by her husband, former Amb. Joseph Wilson.
Second, Armitage did not slip me this information as idle chitchat, as he now suggests. He made clear he considered it especially suited for my column.
An accurate depiction of what Armitage actually said deepens the irony of him being my source. He was a foremost internal skeptic of the administration’s war policy, and I long had opposed military intervention in Iraq. Zealous foes of George W. Bush transformed me improbably into the president’s lapdog. But they cannot fit Armitage into the left-wing fantasy of a well-crafted White House conspiracy to destroy Joe and Valerie Wilson. The news that he and not Karl Rove was the leaker was devastating news for the left.

Something evil should have happened to that bald-headed, thick-necked boy lover Armitage a long time ago. He's been damaging American interests in Foggy Bottom for 30 years.

Novak claims Armitage was/is a big "internal critic" of the Bush administration's foreign policy. Armitage, with his penchant for historical revisionism, is a natural leftist IMO.
When Armitage now says he was mute because of special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald’s request, that does not explain his silence three months between his claimed first realization that he was the source and Fitzgerald’s appointment on Dec. 30. Armitage’s tardy self-disclosure is tainted because it is deceptive.
That IS self-serving and deceptive, brings to mind the name "Joe Wilson".

Unfortunately, there’s no way for the Bush administration to get their reputation back. During the Plame-Gate years, Bush’s favorable ratings went from 53% down to 38% because of the relentless “culture of corruption” attacks every night on the news.
Someone needs to subpoena the phone and e-mail records of Wilson, Shumar, Armitage and Fitzgerald and “connect the dots”. This whole thing was orchestrated and laws have been broken, not the least of which prosecutorial misconduct by Fitzgerald for conducting a political agenda driven sham investigation.
WE CAN’T JUST LET THIS STORY GO AWAY!

After the lies, distortions and attempts to destroy anyone in the administration by the democRAT party and its subsidiary, the MSM, that would be the logical, rational and reasonable course of action. Unfortunately, under the "compassionate conservative" methodology, only genuine conservatives are allowed to be demeaned, persecuted, prosecuted and jailed whenever possible!

The only way this thing's gonna see justice is the day after armageddon. Or when citizens decide to toss tea again, for real this time.
If and when America gets ninehundered&elevened again, but this time by a factor of 100X and the funny little (small 'a') 'merican civs run around like screaming chickens in the blue cities while the remnant badasses rise to the top in the red hill counties and when those hill people - well equipped, confident, the ancestors of the pioneers - take to the streets providing law enforcement because martial law won't even work then and the good 'ol boys form their own militias just like the early Freemasons did, only then will justice be seen. And it will be seen the way it should, in public squares again, in gallows and/or people's heads & hands sticking out of the stocks as they are jeered.
And then, DC, will be the joke that its been for the last century. It will be shut down and turned into a museum. The White House if not razed outright will be converted into a bar for yahoos. And the Oval Office will be an Improv or Laughs Unlimited, take your pick. And people like Armitage will have gotten the hell out of here a long time ago, getting their citizenship elsewhere.
Through brutality, through threatened freedoms come restored freedom. Through total disaster comes gratitude for once was, a cleansing. And we are closer to it than we think. We are only one or two suitcase nukes going boom away. Think I'm wrong? How do you think Average Joe American is going to react to that? Calmly?
The streets will be full of scardycats. And the rest? They will surround DC with torches and pitchforks.

How do you think Average Joe American is going to react to that? Calmly?I think he'll cough once, shudder spasmodically and die with fear in his retinas, his brains irradiated into porridge and his prostate 'sploded thru his urethra all over the grafitti wall, and people will gaze in wonder at the new work of genius dripping rancid bile into their cornflakes.

I am afraid that I must agree with your assessment Fox. I don't think it will take a nuke to accomplish it though. A long over due reversion to the mean (economically speaking) would demonstrate the lack of any calcium in their collective spine. They will vote for anything that they believe will nullify reality. In 1913, they completed the destruction of the Republic, and now they are prepared to destroy the resulting "democracy."

RE:

Well, if 9-11 is any indication, I’m guessing Shumar, Pelosi and Reid will join arms with Santorim, Hastert and Tancredo singing “God Bless America” on the Capitol steps - proclaiming "There are no Democrats and no Republicans – just Americans" (at least for the next few weeks anyway).
Bush will run to the nearest Mosque to show his tolerance (even after they bitch slapped us again with a nuke) and give a speech about bringing terrorists, and nations that harbor them (excluding Pakistan, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria and Iran) to justice.
Valerie will recommend Joe travel to Tehran to ask Ahmadinejad if he nuked us – and return saying there’s no evidence – that it was Karl Rove that did it.
As for the average Joe America, the blue stators will do what they always do - cry a lot, go see their shrinks and wonder why they hate us so much.
The red staters will head to the nearest recruiting center to sign up - like they always have.
...and so it goes

I don't know if one or two will bring national chaos (law enforcement is just too well connected), but it'll surely wreck the economy. If I'm wrong about the chaos, it'll be important that someone sabotage the MSM broadcasting centers ASAP, so that LemmingAmerica doesn't get the idea that it should react by fasting and considering America's guilt in "bringing it on ourselves". On the positive side, the racist/"victim"/criminal class will probably hit the streets to vent its self-generated anger and take what is "rightfully" its own. (Read: "open season").
