Lussee... firebombing Churches with molotov cocktails, firing into church windows, lobbing grenades.

Don't you love the sweet fruit of Friday evening prayers at the local mosque?

GAZA CITY (AFP) - Assailants angry at Pope Benedict XVI’s comments on Islam targeted several churches across the Palestinian territories on the second day of attacks directed at the Christian church.

In Gaza City, a group calling itself the Islamic Organization of the Swords of Righteousness claimed responsibility for unleashing a volley of gunfire on the oldest church in the city.

“We carried out this shooting because of the pope’s statement, and he must apologise,” the caller, who refused to give his name, told AFP Saturday.

The attack came a day after a grenade exploded outside the same church and four days after the pope criticised connections between Islam and violence, particularly with regard to jihad, or “holy war”.

In the West Bank town of Nablus, gunmen threw Molotov cocktails at four churches of different denominations, Palestinian security sources told AFP.

In one incident, gunmen opened fire inside an empty Catholic church after the building’s entrance door was burnt down, the sources said.

Meanwhile, the NY Times castigates and censures the Pope and apologizes to Islam.

There is more than enough religious anger in the world. So it is particularly disturbing that Pope Benedict XVI has insulted Muslims, quoting a 14th-century description of Islam as “evil and inhuman.”

In the most provocative part of a speech this week on “faith and reason,” the pontiff recounted a conversation between an “erudite” Byzantine Christian emperor and a “learned” Muslim Persian circa 1391. The pope quoted the emperor saying, “Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.”

Muslim leaders the world over have demanded apologies and threatened to recall their ambassadors from the Vatican, warning that the pope’s words dangerously reinforce a false and biased view of Islam. For many Muslims, holy war — jihad — is a spiritual struggle, and not a call to violence. And they denounce its perversion by extremists, who use jihad to justify murder and terrorism.

The Vatican issued a statement saying that Benedict meant no offense and in fact desired dialogue. But this is not the first time the pope has fomented discord between Christians and Muslims.

In 2004 when he was still the Vatican’s top theologian, he spoke out against Turkey’s joining the European Union, because Turkey, as a Muslim country was “in permanent contrast to Europe.”

A doctrinal conservative, his greatest fear appears to be the loss of a uniform Catholic identity, not exactly the best jumping-off point for tolerance or interfaith dialogue.

The world listens carefully to the words of any pope. And it is tragic and dangerous when one sows pain, either deliberately or carelessly. He needs to offer a deep and persuasive apology, demonstrating that words can also heal.

"How dare you call us violent! Just for that, we are going to bomb you!"

And liberals defend these monsters. Anyone who defends them has blood on their own hands, as far as I am concerned.

Don't you love the sweet fruit of Friday evening prayers at the local mosque? Yum! And it's just right for IRONY-deficient blood.

The Jews have a word for this - chutzpah. And that's ironic, too!

How dare the Pope speak the truth! I hope he doesn't back down. He says what needs to be said and subsequent events have proved him correct.

Islam is incompatible with everything except islam.

Islam is incompatible with everything except islam.I'm not so sure of that. Most Moslems are killed by other Moslems. Shiites and Sunnis are good at that Hatfield-McCoy thing.

My bad.

Islam is compatible with nothing. Sweep it out the door with the ashes of all the other failed ideologies.

Muslims may yet become extinct as the number of weary people grow and retaliate against the creatures from Hell.

“We carried out this shooting because of the pope’s statement, and he must apologise,” the caller, who refused to give his name, told AFP Saturday.

And you know why they say that, don't you? Because, unfortunately, they know that as soon as they start yelling, 99% of the western world immediately sink to their knees and beg for forgiveness from these bastards.

Remember the cartoons issue? That paper immediately apologized. Every time Islamofascists rattle the sabre, people immediately appease them and apologize.

If these bastards had been slapped down the first time the yelled "Apologize!" the tantrum would have stopped there. But NOOOOOOOO. The western world, duly pussifed by years of tolerating the left, instantly goes on contrition mode.

I don't blame Islamofascists for doing this. I blame US. We, the western world, who allow these barbarians to dominate (yes, dominate) us. We allow them to write the rules, and we stick to those rules. And why? Because we have become a bunch of pussies who soil their underwear instead of fighting back.

Serves us right. Tolerance, multiculturalism, diversity, and the rest of the tricks in the liberal bag will get us killed. Or worse, Islam-dominated. You mark my words.

I just hope to goodness the Pope does not back down.

And yet we only hear of one Muslim here, another there, that speak out against the violence and terrorism. Otherwise, what we see and hear of it entirely backs up the proposition that Islam is by its very nature violent. The response to the Pope only being yet another witness.

In 2004 when he was still the Vatican’s top theologian, he spoke out against Turkey’s joining the European Union, because Turkey, as a Muslim country was “in permanent contrast to Europe.”

Ah no. As said in the first paragraph he speaks to the loss of a Western identity which is in "permanent contrast" to Islam. You idiots who speak of "tolerance" are blind to just how "tolerant" Islam is proving itself.

Islams law causing abject poverty give these mindless morons too much time to create havoc on civilized society. I would suggest we make them go to work or do what the bible says..."wipe them from the face of the earth, every man, woman and child, even to the beasts of the field." That will end this ignorant and dangerous behavior until some other fanatical group of malcontents comes along. Of course history shows us the way if only liberals would get the hell out of the way.

Make no mistake about this, guys. We're fighting TWO enemies here: the Islamofascists and their enablers, liberals.

Beware of the Liberl/Islamofascist Coalition.

You would have thought the September 11th attacks would have been a World-Wide Wakeup Call.

It wasn't.

You would have thought the July 7th tube bombings in London would have been a World-Wide Wakeup CAll.

It wasn't.

As awful as it sounds, maybe the Vatican/Pope falling victim to a suicide bomber will wake up the World. Maybe a horrific even just such as that will bring The World around.

Something has to spark world-wide outrage, sooner or later.

Maybe the Muslims taking out the Pope will do it?

Ya think?

And to bridge the last gap in the quest for just getting along ...

I'd like to build the world a home
And furnish it with love
Grow apple trees and honey bees
And snow-white turtle doves

Chorus:
I'd like to teach the world to sing
In perfect harmony
I'd like to hold it in my arms
And keep it company
(That's the song I hear)
I'd like to see the world for once
(Let the world sing today)
All standing hand in hand
And hear them echo through the hills
For peace throughout the land
That's the song I hear
(That's the song I hear)
Let the world sing today
(Let the whole wide world keep singing)
A song of peace that echoes on
And never goes away

(Repeat 1st stanza and Chorus)

Put your hand in my hand
Let's begin today
Put your hand in my hand
Help me find a way

(Repeat Chorus til fade)

Well, Doc. I don't feel all warm and fuzzy.

I feel a sense of Doom for what's coming at the hands of these Death Cult Diaperheads . . . and we all know what's coming if the World doesn't stop holding hands and singing Kumbaya.
