Repeating what I said in my PM:

You have to first establish your own PayPal account.

PayPal can be tricky.

After I posted the Fundraiser item, I tried to make a donation and found that I couldn't get in.

Don't forget your password. PayPal will put you through hoops to get back into your account.

I use it on occasion for eBay items and assorted Web purchases, so I had no problem logging in and making a contribution. It's a quick and simple way to transact business via the Web.

It would be nice if everyone would donate a little bit every month.

I don't think it's fair for a few people to foot the bill for the entire cost of keeping FreeConservatives UP and running.

I don't know if they can do that or not. Perhaps? I don't see why you couldn't set it up that way. I'll have to research.

Friendlywebhost has auto withdrawal each month which is $25.00 and Josh's bill averages about $50.00 a month. Your help is keeping FC alive. You have no idea how much I appreciate it. I'm building the "Donor list" to turn over to Josh so he can create the page. Paypal lists your real names. I need everyone who donated to send me a PM so I can match the real name to your screen name. I don't want to post your real names on the internet. Also, all past donors will be on the list. I remember most of you but it would be most helpful if you too would PM me because I do not want to forget anyone who has donated to the cause.

Thanks Cali. Paypal is a wonderful service but be sure and write down your password. They are security conscious and you have to go through a lot to get your password. Which is a good thing.

Never got a response from the numerous cries for help. I wrote my password very carefully, but must have screwed up.
Anywhooo, I'll have to find another way.

That was my problem. I knew the other address wasn't right. It also says you aren't registered so apparently that email is not set up to accept payments. Call me paranoid but I wasn't going to send the money when the info didn't match the last known address, etc.
