Every morning I get him up and take him to school. What did he want for breakfast today? Ramen Noodles! Not cooked, just the hard block in which he ate hard......AND LIKED IT!!!

Anyone else with kids like this? It's too weird for me!

While he hasn't picked ramen noodles yet, my son has eaten some "weird" stuff for breakfast before. One day it was uncooked oatmeal

All our kids when they were little, would take the noodles, break them into pieces, and sprinkle the spice bag over them. I tried it, and they taste a little like those box snacks with the rice and wheat and corn chex in them.

LOL they haven't tried that yet! But one of the boys sometimes used to like bread with nothing on it but catsup in the morning.... weird!!!!

Now he prefers an egg or two with it, thank goodness!

I ate uncooked oatmeal as a child. My mom thought I was nutz. Hadn't thought about that in years.

Might have to try it again.

I can't stand ramen nodles cooked. Can't imagine uncooked.

I've come to the conclusion that nothing anyone eats is wierd. It's just what a person --even children people, have a taste for.

My youngest grandson won't eat any meat except chicken. I don't know why he doesn't cluck when he walks.

I remember when a friend, at my house for the weekend, didn't want bacon and eggs for breakfast, but asked me if I had any peanut butter. I watched him make a peanut butter and bacon sandwich for breakfast. I thought it was weird until I took a bite. It was wonderful, and now one of my favorite sandwiches.

I have a friend who puts salt on ice cream, and another who puts catsup on popcorn.

*shrug*

Except for pica disorders. Now THAT's strange.... definitely in the twilight zone. :ooo:

I'm not familiar with pica? What's that? If it's something gross, then I don't want to know --just keep it to yourself and let me live in ignorance. It's too early in the morning here to get my stomach churning.

Strong cravings for non-food items.

To the best of my memory, my daughter hasn't wanted anything out of the ordinary for breakfast...I remember enjoying chocolate cake and Coke.

Usually, I was able to stop bouncing off the walls by the time school was over.

Just in time to get filled up on Oreos when you got home.

Per Bill Cosby, the cake covers eggs, milk and wheat so I see no problems here!

Coke? If you're on 3rd shift, then breakfast is really your dinner so no problems there. Beyond that, ew!
