I cannot imagine this in today's world.
Here's what I'm talking about:
In my explorations of old cemeteries, I've found and photographed graves of ship captains who died at sea. All these graves are from the 1800s. Some of these ship captains were only in their twenties! Can you imagine? All the twenty-somethings I know today are lazy losers. At work all they do is fool around, and they have no interest in doing their jobs properly. Yet 100 to 150 years ago they were captains of sailing vessels. Unbelievable!
