figures it would be davenport. that whole section of Iowa is so inbred it is amazing that they can walk.
Yet another example of an area almost exclusively democrat that has no respect for life, unless it is their own.

Was the four-year-old's father the lucky groom-to-be?
(Why would I be utterly shocked if the answer were yes?)

Unless I misread the article, the broad was pawning the kid rather than selling him. Still a rotten thing to do but not the same as selling him outright.

One time we are at a convenience store and pumped gas. The credit card system was down so Dave left me there as collateral while he got cash down the road. The owner said, "He is coming back for you right??" I said, "I hope so!"
Anyway yeah, I was hoping she was kidding in the article but it doesn't sound like it... hope she gets the max!

There have been conflicting stories on the news about it here.
I thought I heard an interview where she said she was kidding, or being sarcastic..
And the police said that even if she was kidding they would have to arrest her for the crime. Apparently even mentioning it is agains the law.
Either way, she should have to pay the penalty for being an idiot!

Oh my gosh, if that's the truth then I better keep a close eye out for the law knocking on my door! I don't know how many times I've tried to get the grocery store to keep my son in exchange for the groceries -- I tell you, buying groceries is an exercise in futility. You load the cart, you unload the cart on the counter, reload the cart with the bought products, unload the cart into your car, unload the car into your house, load the cabinets with your groceries, unload the groceries in your tummy, and then have nothing to show for it but a pile of ... well you know. Like I said, exercise in futility.
I think context is required for the story -- if she was serious, she should be charged, no question.

I KNOW one of the cashiers and we've kidded around about her taking home my sons. A busybody could easily take it out of context. Not gonna do that anymore!

One word... Schwans. :rotflmbo: Well, you know, there's nothing to show for it but a pile of.... BUT the process is much less of a hassle. :p

I know Homes, I've joked about it too. Never in my wildest dreams would I actually trade him for anything, but I have made jokes about it....especially at the car dealer...:D
