Air America Radio, a liberal talk and news radio network, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, a network official told the AP.

The network had denied rumors just a month ago that it would file for bankruptcy, but on Friday Air America said negotiations with a creditor from the company's early days had broken down.

The network will stay on the air while it resolves issues with its creditors, spokeswoman Jaime Horn told the Associated Press. A formal announcement was expected to be made later Friday.

Morally and intellectually bankrupt from the beginning, they are now financially bankrupt as well.

Strike three.

Has anyone heard how the feminazi version of it (Hanoi Jane et al) is doing? Or did that die on the vine?

I have an idea it died in utero, but we won't hear about it for another 10 years as liberals do their utmost to act as if they just lost interest for no particular reason.

Them's real cool like that. Its called 'playin it off'. Saving face. Shit your pants? Pretend you don't feel the gravy falling down your pantleg. Just walk away like you never even saw it or smelled it.

And make sure when you do, that you strut. Nothing better than watching a brother strut when shit's falling down his leg.

Best kind's that runny shit, like when you got diarrhea. Fills up the sock and dribbles over the top and down onto the pavement, leaving an aromatic trail.

Did Air America ever get another other stations broadcasting it..... other than New York City?

You can always avoid the sock fillup-age if you attach an RV blackwater line perpendicular alongside your Jordaches. I got mine from Home Depot. Its black, corrugated, fully industrial and can handle the most gnarly gravy humanly possible.

But do you have to jumpstart it? You know, suck on it to create a vacuum?

Did Air America ever get another other stations broadcasting it..... other than New York City?Find A Station (http://www.airamerica.com/stations)

There are 87 listed, including XM Satellite. Most of them are low- or medium-power local stations.

That's because low- or medium-power stations cost less for George Soros to pay for. Libs can't draw an audience, not even one of other libs, so they do it the easy way and just pretend to have an audience. But even Soros won't fund them endlessly, so they don't get none a them "50,000 watts of PURE POWER!" stations. The cheapskate.

I actually picked them up in Columbia, SC. Their airport was hailed by the local liberal fishwrap as "A good place to take a nap."

Not to hi-jack the thread, but as an aside, and as an indication of the importance of Airhead America:

Jag Wife, is that a BC Rich your cat is playing?

Yep. It pollutes Maine air, too. You see the occasional liberal, driving a junk of a car, with the Air America bumper sticker: "Air America. The voice of Truth," or some such fantasy.

Dig this (http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/1013062airamerica1.html):

Air America Radio today filed for bankruptcy, listing liabilities in excess of $20 million and assets of only $4 million. ...The list of ... includes on-air personalities like Al Franken ($360,749.98) and Chuck D ($10,749.99)

Al Franken, owed $360k? That right there's why they're failing so miserably: Talentless hacks ought to be paid nothing, not $360k.

. . .

Wait a minute ...
