It is probably unwise to taunt a man who commands a million-strong army. It is also probably unseemly to make light of the man's ballistic and nuclear weapons, even if they don't work.

Right now people around the world are running around in circles, pulling their hair and wringing their hands over North Korea's reported underground atomic-bomb test, when it ought to be the subject of late-night television comedians.

Today global leaders rattle their ballistic missiles and nuclear weapons rather than spears and battle-axes, but it is still a macho world. And in macho terms, Kim Jong-il is a man who literally can't get it up. ...

"No one has ever dudded their first test of a simple fission device," said Defensetech.org. "North Korea's nuclear scientists are the worst ever."

This article more or less confirms what's been in the back of my extremely uneducated mind for a long time --without all of the techno-babble. What I know about kilotons and Pu-240, you could put in a thimble.

But, I've wondered if that short, pot-belied drunk with the bad haircut and out-dated glasses was as much of a threat as he's making himself out to be.

Please, God. Let GWB hang tough and never allow the United States of America to be blackmailed into one-on-one talks with this underdeveloped, underfed, undereducated nation, led by a freak of nature.
