At Columbia University things got ugly the other day and some students felt that they needed to be heard. Is this the right way to do it? hah! maybe for libs!!!!!
I believe in freedom of speech. But, how exactly are these students allowing the speaker to retain his right to freedom of speech? answer: they arent. Typical lib actions!!!

At Columbia, Students Attack Minuteman Founder

By ELIANA JOHNSON - Staff Reporter of the Sun
October 5, 2006

Students stormed the stage at Columbia University's Roone auditorium yesterday, knocking over chairs and tables and attacking Jim Gilchrist, the founder of the Minutemen, a group that patrols the border between America and Mexico.

Mr. Gilchrist and Marvin Stewart, another member of his group, were in the process of giving a speech at the invitation of the Columbia College Republicans. They were escorted off the stage unharmed and exited the auditorium by a back door.

Having wreaked havoc onstage, the students unrolled a banner that read, in both Arabic and English, "No one is ever illegal." As security guards closed the curtains and began escorting people from the auditorium, the students jumped from the stage, pumping their fists, chanting victoriously, "Si se pudo, si se pudo," Spanish for "Yes we could!"

Having wreaked havoc onstage, the students unrolled a banner that read, in both Arabic and English, "No one is ever illegal."Does this mean they're pro-terrorism?

To me, it means they're OK with assuming room temperature.

"These are racist individuals heading a project that terrorizes immigrants on the U.S.-Mexican border," Ryan Fukumori, a Columbia junior who took part in the protest, told The New York Sun. "They have no right to be able to speak here."
So says the little dictator. Build the wall, and deport scum like this.

Just labeling someone as a racist is enough to deprive them of the right to speak in a public forum. Is that what we are to believe? More importantly, is this what the students learn in those classrooms?

From this interview (http://www.democracynow.org/article.pl?sid=06/10/11/1430231):

KARINA GARCIA: This isn't an organization with ideas. These are people with guns. These are people with rifles, people that stand on the border in the middle of the desert, and they declare open hunting season on defenseless immigrant families. This isn't a battle of ideas.

And I would say to this twit, the ones crossing over illegally are what? Gasp! Yes! CRIMINALS.

She, like many Lefty college kids, is in favor of free speech that only she agrees with.

Every other kind of speech, according to Miss Twit, is racism, immigrant bashing, etc.

Boy, is she in for a disappointment when she discovers there really isn't a Santa Claus!

I wish it were declaring open season, but the activists on the border are armed with nothing more than binoculars. Seeing criminal activity and reporting it are now considered equal to shooting them. Aw shucks, I'd go for actual shooting.

Nevertheless, telling the illegals that there are Americans out there gunning for them can't be anything other than good even if there are no Americans out there gunning for them. If it stops just ONE from crossing over, it will be worth it.

One well placed rumor can be more effective than 100 guns.

There are pirahannas and crocs in the Rio Grande.
There are patrols of fire breathing Americans all along the border ready to shoot their children.
Americans are blowing up the tunnels with people still in them burying them alive.

I don't care what the rumor is, there should be more and they should be worse. Then we don't have to really do anything.

BTW this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfnn7wTgoE8) shows the protestors and the reactions.

And this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N41eXtVK7hA) (I call it the protestor version) shows the reactions only from 2 different angles. They seem to have cut out the first part. Figures....

Yes. Like schools, colleges are just indoctrination cells. Ask David Horowitz.

No doubt the micro-IQ twit, Garcia, blindly accepted that bullshit from the Columbia faculty. The place is a reeking sewer of ultraliberalism that exists only to create the next generation of marching, screeching, leftist assholes.

aint that the truth. Horowitz is doing a bang up job out there, and the libs have NO one to counter what he is doing. Its funny kind of.
