. . . and I have an Old Glory sticker to prove it.

Straight Republican ticket, proud to say.

I wasn't tickled pink over a couple of the choices, but I don't ever intend to waste my vote on Third Party silliness.

Early voting here seems to be heavy from what I've observed since the polls opened for EV several days back.

I love our voting electronic voting machines. No hanging or pregnant chads --not that we ever had them out here in this part of the country. I think that particular ailment was found only in Florida.

I voted last week (2nd day of early voting)

Could not bring myself to vote a straight Republican Ticket. I just could not vote for Kay Bailey Hutcheson, I voted for her Libertarian opponent.

Kay Bailey Hutchinson? Too RINO.

The Democrats out here on the Left Coast have done away with straight tickets, although you can vote by vote.

Guess which party that hurts worse?

(gasp)...You can't mean Kinky Friedman? Or Strayhorn, the grandmom-who-has-no-frickin'-clue-who-the-president-of-Mexico-is-although-she-lives-in-a-border state?

Good, good sign for the GOP.

Here it's still a punch ballot, though not a butterfly one. Good thing, it's apparently hard to follow an arrow from a name.

Kay Bailey is a "Moderate" at very best. I have issues with her stands on Immigration, The War on Terrorism and several other matters.

My husband is threatening to vote Democrat. Good thing I'm the only one who knows where his voter registration card is. :D

My husband is threatening to vote Democrat.

My advice: Start looking for a good divorce attorney. You have grounds.

I know, I know. It's rough, ladies. Rough I tell you.

And you don't have to worry about him finding his voter registration card. It has been conveniently lost until he comes to his senses. :rotflmbo:

Oh well, if he had to vote D, (as an informed voter only) so be it. :) I would rather someone vote on their issues than be apathetic. Dave's ex used to whine and whine, "Fine I'll go but first you make me a list of who to vote for and I'll go do it." So which is worse? Voting Democratic or voting Republican (apathetically)?

He wouldn't be voting for Democrats, he would be voting against Bush.

He really didn't fall for that line the libs are touting did he? Please try to talk some sense into him.

Have him stand in front of the mirror and tell him to say these words: Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Then have him repeat those three words over and over.

Or pick up a Louisville Slugger and keep him comatose until about November 10th.

Either one works for me.

Don't worry, my friends. I consider it my civic duty to make sure my husband never finds his voter registration card. :rotflmbo:

I don't get to vote until Tuesday. Sadly, most of who I will vote for won't win because of the Socialist state that I live in. (Vermont)

-Bernie Sanders will win the Senate seat. He is a self-proclaimed socialist who runs as an Independent but always sides 99.9% of the time with Democrats. (I'm voting for Rich Tarrant, the Republican)
-Peter Welch will win the Congressional seat left by Sanders. His primary statement during his campaign, "sending a Republican is a rubber stamp for George Bush. (I'm voting for Martha Rainville, GOP candidate and former state Adjutant General)
-Gov. Jim Douglas I'm thinking will win re-election. He is a Republican and I will be voting for him. His opponent believes in taxes, taxes and more taxes. No thanks!

I tried to vote absentee (everybody here can), but they sent me a form letter saying I didn't sign my form. Funny, I made a copy of it and it has my signature. Anyway, I'll just vote at the polls.
