Tony Romo has replaced the old lead cleated, anchor footed Drew Bledsoe. Bledsoe apparently did not realize that you cannot stay in the pocket for a three week vacation before deciding what to do with the football. He also did not realize that it is not good for the other team to get the ball immediately after it leaves your hand.

As a result, Bledsoe was benched after one too many interceptions. It's kind of sad that his last pass as a professional quarterback was an INT. It's even sadder (to me) that he even wore a Dallas Cowboys uniform.

Just one start, but ROMO takes positive step (http://www.dallascowboys.com/news.cfm?id=A0AC6A4B-0E93-B089-2F4868A3E29621A4)

Bledsoe had to go. He was terrible. What's the point of playing Bledsoe and MAYBE getting to the playoffs, where they stood no chance of doing any damage. Better to get the kid some pro snaps and let him grow into his role. Watching Bledsoe wasn't going to make him better.

Tony Rome (http://www.us.imdb.com/title/tt0062380/posters), starring Frank Sinatra. The film doesn't seem to have any connection to the Cowboys; however, it was set in Miami, where Tony Roma's first restaurant opened a few years later.
