Hi all!
Been off doing other things a while. Back now. Especially since it's now time to begin the next big political adventure. "The 2008 Presidential Election!" "The Super Bowl of Politics!"

Missed much, I'm sure. Missed you all as well.

I often have come and browsed hoping to find something I was passionate about as I'm sure many of you have as well. Sometimes I find that to be a task in itself. So, I don't reply as much as I should to posts. I'm sure that many others do the same.

Well, the 6 year itch has been determined. The Democrats have taken the house & the senate which was predicted. This is actually good news in the larger scheme of things. Now we move on to the next big venue. On to the "MAN" who will wield the pen which will hold the veto power to the congress. Who will it be? Who are your picks?

I say "MAN" because we are all positive that Hillary is gearing up for a run back to her old home on Pennsylvania Avenue, but has no possible chance of ever residing there again. So, I'm open to your picks and your expectations. The 2008 campaign began at about 6:00 AM EST 11-08-06. So, on with the game. On to the Super Bowl. Time to play the greatest game of all. The guessing game of what the 2 years ahead of us have in store. Assumptions and predictions. Why do you believe them to be true and why do you wish them to be true?

My Picks? (Mitt Romney possibly running on the ticket with John McCain)
(Hillary Clinton with Barak Obama on her ticket)
This is quite likely and also a total loss for the Dems.

Anyway... I'm back! It's nice to be home and it's nice to be reading your posts again. For those who have welcomed me back, Thank you! It's great to see you as well. Let's have a wonderful Campaign Season.

Go GOP!!!!!!!!!!http://www.freeconservatives.com/vb/images/icons/goodluck1.gif

If McVain at the top of the ticket is the best we can do, we're in deeper trouble than even I can imagine.

The "Right" will stay home in droves.

Pickins are Slim --or is that Slim Pickins? Didn't he pass away afew years back?

In all seriousness, I don't have a clue what the '08 ticket for the Republicans is going to look like, but it's going to have to be better than what we're seeing so far.

I truly believe McVain is the one candidate that might make me sit-out the '08 vote. Something I've never done. I've held my nose and voted many a time, but I'm just not sure I could do it for McVain.

I truly despise the man.

I like Newt, but he's carrying a lot of Bill Clinon-type baggage [women].

Yeah but you have to think about the media flurry, on one side you have Newt with a little bit of baggage with women. On the other side you have Hitlery, as far as media baggage nuff said and Barack Obama a Muslim. I mean Newt looks pretty good against those two.
But I do fear, McCain is the best the Repubs will be willing to do.

Newt is our Bill Clinton -- white trash with some talent. I won't vote for such characterless trash.

McCain's a liar and a pimp and, IMO, a sellout. I wouldn't vote for him for any reason.

Come on, Condi, RUN. I need somebody I can vote for and feel like I done the right thing.
