Who should be the new House Speaker? Right now, it appears Nancy Pelosi will be the next House Speaker, since she's been the leader of the Democrats in the House for a couple of years.

But what about Steny Hoyer of Maryland? He may be a left-wing wacko and have a funny name, but at least he looks like a regular person. Nancy, on the other hand . . .

We need Pelosi to exemplify the asswipes that were elected. Her ignorance and her motor mouth will be politically useful in 2008.

Yup. As much as it pains me to say it, we need Pelosi now. She's ALREADY good for mileage and she'll be good for a lot more by '08. If she's NOT confirmed as Speaker that fact and the Dems realization of it will be the only reason...

It would look awful to voters for the Dems to change leaders at this point in the game. They won't.

According to Fox news radio, Bush will be having lunch with Pelosi today, perhaps to influence the D's to choose poorly.

Did he get his immunization shots updated? Liberal cooties can be difficult to remove after the fact.

The other involves a wooden stake, garlic and a priest named Guido.

We need Pelosi, Rangel, Conyers, et al, in full open-mouth mode... They will be instrumental in our quest to retake the government...

In truth the new Dem masters of the House and Senate will find themselves in some particularly desperate positions... They have won power by masquerading as Conservatives, but they still must please the far left lunatics that are their base... They will quickly be forced to choose between maintaining the disguise for the benefit of the weak-minded undecideds who put them in power, or drop the mask and become the Leftists thay are in order to not lose the Soros/Moore crowd to the Green Party...

Pelosi is an old hag who is way past her prime. Too many of us know her true colors. And for those who allowed her to become Speaker, they are in for a rude awakening.

The Bush-Pelosi Coalition will be short lived unless she starts acting her old-ass age.

As long as they don't pass any legislation and focus on impeaching W this will be fun to watch as they roll down the rollercoaster to minority status once more.

Since Peeloosly has the inside track for SofH and thus 3rd in line for the Presidency, here's my question:

Given a choice of Peeloosly or Shrillary for Prez, which would you choose?

What's the difference? They're both rabid liberals.

After 3 weeks in hiding, she came back with a new face and a new hairdo. I wonder if she got some help for her face like, say, Botox, a la Hanoi John Kerry during the 2004 campaign.

OK, here's my point:

Say Peeloosly is confirmed as S of H making her 3rd in line for Prez. What if Bush resigns turning the country over to Cheney. Let the 'rats chew over this turn of events a bit, and a week or so later Cheney resigns, and Peeloosly is now Prez.

How would Shrillary take that? I think she'd be hacked off not being the first woman Prez, and of course, Peeloosly would be the 'rat frontrunner in '08. OTOH, she could be so inept and things would be in such disorder, that the 'pubs would have an excellent chance to retake everything.

What if the GOP put up McCain against "Wide Eyes"?

Since Pelosi's no spring chicken (and few if any Presidents have come directly out of the House), I still think Hillary is the odds-on favorite for the Democratic nominatin. Pelosi, in contrast, is just the odd.
