We will win

OK, we have licked our wounds, we have cried in our cereal, we have kicked and we have screamed; now it is time to get back to work… We have two years my friends to turn this bus around before it crashes completely. First thing we must do is let our republican leaders know that just looking at McCain makes us want to throw up and if they do not stop putting him up as the face of the republican party we will lose 08’. We need to get on the phones and emails and tell them we warned you that this issue would bring us down, they need a reminder.
<O:p</O:p
We have the media and the democrats all yelling that this is about Iraq and we need to let them know that they are WRONG. We need to let the democrats’ know that they got where they are simply because of the frustration behind the illegal immigration issue. They need to know that the ONLY reason they won was because some of our people thought this would teach the republicans a lesson, they need to know that we have not given up and that we are going to be in their dreams at night. We are going to watch their every move and we are going to take a page from their playbook, remind them they taught us how to treat elected officials and we learned really well…
<O:p</O:p
We know for instance that if they say anything at all we do not like we need to take to the streets and protest them until they retire. We know that we should be watching their every move and call for investigations over everything. We know that we need to question where they got every penny of their campaign money, who they talk to, who they get advice from and how much did these people contribute to their campaign? We are not dead we are just badly beaten and if we do not get it together really quick we will be on life support, so blow your nose, wipe your eyes and get ready for a fight.
<O:p</O:p
We are not cut from the cut and run cloth, it is not in our vocabulary and we will never quit simply because we know that there is way too much at stake. For those of you who did not vote or voted democrat, thinking your one vote wouldn’t hurt anyone maybe just make them have to work for it, face the fact that you were wrong and join us to fight this battle to 2008. I honestly do not believe any of you really meant to put the democrats in charge, but it has happened and now we must keep going.
<O:p</O:p
We are the party of less government, less abortions and less illegal immigrants, we are the party who stands firmly behind our troops and we are the party that believes the individual is better suited to run his own life and if this is not what you believe you might want to stick to that democrat vote because we republicans refuse to allow the government to own us. We know for whom these people work and we are not afraid to tell them, we do not know the word defeat, we understand temporary setback but utter defeat is not an option. We will prevail, we will fight back and we will win.

Good to see you again, Hill...
All you say above is true, however, we face a deeper issue within the Republican party... It has been taken over by the Country Club Republicans - that same crowd that was ashamed of Conservatism and detested Ronald Reagan... IMO, we will not get back on top of the game until we find another leader of the caliber of Mr Reagan, who is not afraid to wade straight thru the CC Pubs and call the Conservative spirit back to life in America...
The American people are inherently Conservative - this is why the Dems won by masquerading as Conservatives while the Pubs were trying to move to the Left and look like Centrists... The people of America are hungry for another Reagan to lead them out of the desert... If and when the Pubs realize this, they will regain control of this government...
Sadly, Im not convinced that the Pubs realize this yet, and thus I dont expect the turnaround to occur in 2 years... The test we face now is how much inner strength we have as Conservatives... Do we have the stamina to survive in the Liberal desert until we find the new leader?
Ironically on election night, I saw John McCain pontificating (basking in camera time and using it to keep his face before the voting public in anticipation of the '08 campaign), and he said two very true statements, both of which were unnatural coming from his mouth... One: He said that this nation would never get back on track until we found another Ronald Reagan... And Two: The Republican party must stop playing party politics and return to Conservative values - It was at this point that I began to irrationally yell at the McCain on my TV, knowing full well he couldnt hear me - But it made me feel better, just the same...
McCain is hungry for the Whitehouse - His soul will not rest easy in the grave until his butt takes possession of the President's chair... And I think he saw something in the Democratic strategy this year...
Dont be suprised to see McCain begin to package himself as the great Conservative Messiah sent to lead us to the Promised Land... I could smell it with every word that dripped from his mouth... Get ready for the new and improved Conservative John McCain...

No more candy-assed sycophants who call Islam the religion of peace, and no more foreign cockroach panderers, that's for sure. And no more "nation builders"... You didnt see Mr Reagan offer to rebuild the infrastructure of Granada, or rebuild Kadaffi's palace for him...
Reagan knew the value of a hard fist fight and an enemy's nose left bleeding to gain respect for the US... That's the leader we need...

You will not get a chance in two years unless the republicans become far more leftist and liberal.
The reason. In two years hispanics will have virtually transplanted all of south and central America here. Thanks to the demunists they will be all to happy to give their newly legalized votes to the people who brought them here. Americans can consider themselves officially disenfranchised. A republican won't get in unless that person promises MORE than the democrats promise.
We are at the official end of Alexander Tyler's timeline.

I believe the Republican party is going to come back out of the ashes kicking the crap out of the communists, illegals, and other special interest groups as it does, and I believe it will be in my lifetime.

Agreed. The Conservative Republicans of the Reagan era are gone.

Kathy is right. With mexicans and other latins being set up to vote, what you people recognized as the Republican Party is dead and buried. Better get ready to arm and fight for your lives, unless the Third Worlders pass laws to take your arms away so they can march up to your doors and slit your throats legally.

Defeatist attitudes will get Americans nowhere, people! You're all saying a bunch of candy-assed, multicultural communists, welfare bums and trespassers are more powerful than red-blooded, freedom-loving people!
There are plenty of us who desperately need to stop chocking on the weenies and pull our heads out of our asses.

No, that's not what I'm saying. But what I'm asking is, where are they? I'm beginning to think either they don't exist, or there are so few of them left, they've decided not to bother.

Quite the opposite. Just recognizing that you had better be prepared to fight to the death for your country. Voting will no longer do the trick. The Bushdems have imported a new electorate to replace us. They already own California. They will soon own Texas (look what happened in Dallas County). As for Kathy, I hope she remembers the discussions we had on the old CCIR board many years ago, where all of us back then knew we would likely face this day.

Didn't say that, WC. I was stating the obvious. So long as I breathe I will fight Leftism.

Come on Home..listen up dear; '94 is not that far removed! These same folks came out in '00 because they were tired of Clinton/Gore, they gave us gains in 02 and 04! They just had a brain dump in '06 and will be back in '08 now that they have seen the error of their ways! Let's just hope that we can close the barn door before the last horse has left.

People better understand. The illegals pouring into this country are NOT the mexicans of northern, borderland mexico, who were the American acculturated illegals of past decades. What is coming across now are predominantly indian blooded peoples who have a long held hatred and a lust for revenge against the white elites in their own countries, which they are incorporating against the white majority of this country. The "indian rights" movement is behind Chavez, it's behind the other radicals coming to power all across South America, and it's behind the revolt in southern mexico. Bushdems are importing a race war into America. You can recognize it and deal with it or wait for the knock on your door.

Luc,
I might have believed that had we at least retained the Senate. I'm having a really hard time "bucking-up" for the team, in the face of losing BOTH in the midst of such a crucial time in our country. I'm feeling like the barn door is completely off the hinges, and there's no one left with the ability to fix it, much less close it.
EDIT: We've lost both houses, Rummy, and now looks like Bolton is bolting. Really, what's left?

The Roman Empire destroyed itself from within and left itself vulnerable to attack by enemies from outside. We're they're now. The traitors within the gates are undermining our nation, and they will not be satisfied until America has been reduced to a shadow of itself, another third-world shithole.
We are at the point where nothing the people can do will prevent it. We are opposing a cadre of traitors and theit fawning media propagandists. Nothing short of a coup d'état will suffice.

Home, the old story of we were out coached really applies here! The 'Rats for once, put together a workable game plan that had us down by a few touchdowns before we realized what hit us. Lessons learned from this are many! We send over 60M to the polls in '04 and not even half that in '06! We learned that the DBM will try to suppress the vote with doom and gloom. The RNC leadership must go and replaced with someone who can run an effective campaign! Like I said before about the House, all those seats can and will be taken back in '08, we will have to make halftime adjustments to regain the Senate. And for the Presidency we must not compromise morals in the primaries and choose a strong conservative.
And last but not least Home, do you want to know what's left? Look at your babies tonight when you tuck them in bed like I did with mine last night. That dear is what is left! We have to remain strong for them!!!
EDIT:
From the Drudge Report: www.drudgereport.com (http://www.drudgereport.com)
Preliminary: Senate Ballots cast: 31,591,495 (D) 25,054,569 (R)...
This is an absolutely pathetic number! This isn't a matter of people voting for Dems this is just a GOP no-show!

EDIT: We've lost both houses, Rummy, and now looks like Bolton is bolting. Really, what's left? The Presidency and strong presences in both houses of congress. If (this is a big if) President Bush and the Republican leadership can get full support of the Republicans in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate, they can still control (or at least stop) legislation, by the President vetoing legislation and the veto's not being overridden by congress. The Democrats do not have a large enough majority in either house of congress to override vetos without some Republicans helping.
