Guitar Hero - Anyone Heard Of It?

My son has a new Playstation2 game called "Guitar Hero" and he's addicted, :smirky: . Anybody else heard of it, or played it? Have quite a few old songs to "play" -- Bubba and I enjoyed just listening to the old tunes as li'l Bubba played the game with a couple of friends the other day.

Well, I guess I should be happy -- there's no sex, violence or graphic language .... the game probably won't catch on, LOL.

My kids have a ball with that game, albeit at their friends houses. We have an Xbox - I think Guitar Hero is out for Xbox 360 but not the regular Xbox.

believe it or not Homeschool but "Guitar Hero" is actually a rather popular game. Its a must have with all my friends. I personally haven't played it yet, but all my friends say its REALLY addictive

Well, I must admit, I'm not the hippest video game buff -- my favorite games were Crash Bandicoot, Pandemonium, Banjo-Kazooie, Ty The Tasmanian Tiger, and Spryo the Dragon, LOL.

I actually saw a commercial on the telly the other night for the Guitar Hero II game ... went to the store to see about getting it for my son, they wanted $60! I'll have to wait until a used version comes into the Rhino Game Store here, a new one is just to rich for my blood, :smirky: .

Crash Bandicoot, Banjo-Kazooie, and Spyro are classics!!!! I love those games!!!! And yah the new guitar hero is a bit on the expensive side, but you'll find a used version soon i think :)

I'm getting my wife Guitar Hero II this Christmas.

I actually broke down and got it for my son ... but I lucked out, Walmart had it on sale for $43.70! So at least he's going to get one "fun" gift this year (even though I'm not sure he deserves it, as he has REALLY tried his Dad's and my patience this year). He already had GH1, so he has the guiltar controller, that's how/why I got the game so cheap, didn't need to buy an additional guiltar.
