Longhorn & HS Football

Just stopping in to let everyone know that last night I had the immense pleasure of watching our local high school football team "put the whup" on the team from the high school where Longhorn works, moving us solidly into 2nd place in district so far.

I was wondering if you were sitting over there on the other side, Moo.

:moo: Well, if you were there, why didn't you walk around past the concession stand, & look for me? And we may have lost, but we at least got the pleasure of stealing your conversion attempt. It's not often you get to see a team score that way. I had a lot of fun watching the game, even if we lost. I even got a little plastic football to take home to Xane.

It was an exciting game...lots of scoring. We had been out of town for a spelling bee (our son got 3rd place in his age group) and only made it back for the 2nd half, though we listened to the first on the radio. I figured if you and Mrs. Moo were going to be in town, you'd have given us a heads up. ...well hey...your band played better than ours anyway.
