Why Men are Rarely Published in Dear Abby

Dear Abby,

I've never written to you before, but I really need your advice on what could be a crucial decision. I've suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me.

The usual signs... Phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up.

My wife has been going out with the girls a lot recently although when I ask their names she always says, "Just some friends from work, you don't know them."

I always stay awake to look out for her taxi coming home, but she always walks down the drive. Although I can hear a car driving off, as if she has gotten out of the car round the corner. Why? Maybe she wasn't in a taxi?

I once picked her cell phone up just to se e what ?time it was and she went berserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her.
?
Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my wife. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to really check on her.

I decided I was going to park my Harley Davidson motorcycle next to the garage and then hide behind it so I could get a good view of the whole street when she came home. It was at that moment, crouching behind my Harley, that I noticed that the valve covers on my engine seemed to be leaking a little oil.

Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it back to the dealer?

Thanks, Bob

Hmmmm I fail to see the reason? I mean, the man has a legitimate concern. Oil leaking out of your valve covers is a very serious matter. And if you're not familiar with working on engines, you could screw it up worse. Not getting the covers torqued properly, or ripping the gasket, you could warp the covers, and then you'll never get a proper seal.

I can feel his pain. I mean, potentially, it's a very serious, and heart breaking matter. Harley's cost a lot to replace!

Uh Gonzo did you read the first point of his letter? Dear Abby probably doesn't know beans about Harley's. She's a relationship counselor. He lost his focus. It's not a big deal. It's just a joke. I suggest to Bob that if his wife is cheating on him to dump her and take his Harley back to the dealer. But that's just me.

Yes, I saw his wife was cheating on him. I understand that perfectly. But what you don't understand is, a guy can pick up a new old lady in just about any bar. But to find that one special Harley.... now THAT'S something special!

Yes, that is one way to go... but we can't just gloss over that whole "wounded Harley" thing. I mean, that is a delicate matter, something you don't just take lightly.

It's just a joke.

I understand that hon, as was my response. ;) Hasn't anyone told you? I'm a smart ass. ;)

I didn't need to be told. I figured that out all on my own.

Yes but can you take a Harley to bed? :smirky:

Seriously, I wish we could do away with Jap crap. I want a Harley! My sis had a custom replica of the show jumper. XR750 I believe.

Yes you can, but if you are going to get "intimate", I suggest giving it at least 4 hours for the pipes to fully cool down.

Does a Harley make a good vibrator?

Depends how hard you hit the throttle.
