People across the world are willing to pay millions of dollars for the profound paintings of a 12-year-old Idaho girl.
Now, those internationally recognized paintings are on display in Boise. ...
She says God is her inspiration and each of the paintings holds a story full of wisdom far past her age.
Akiane described what inspired to her to create the painting [below].

“The real meaning behind this painting is whatever we are, we will still wither even if its in an expensive vase if we don't have light,” she said.

“The real meaning behind this painting is whatever we are, we will still wither even if its in an expensive vase if we don't have light,” she said.Well . . . it makes as much sense as anything any other artist has said recently. Of course, it's a bit of a stretch to call most Hollywood actors and popular singers "artists," so the comparison is a bit unfair.

Our church has a 13 x 15 gelcee print of one of her paintings that was given to us by the Kramarik family. They've been out of churches for a while because everytime they start attending somewhere, some idjit tries to make a buck off of them. So we've been sending them CDs of our Sunday sermons each week. In gratitude they sent us a print. It's pretty stinkin' cool.

Oh, one more thing...
Her painting is only one part of her talent. She's also an incredible poet. Most people never read her poetry and just look at her paintings, but you should take the time to read her work as well as look at it.

Aye, which is why I posted the link to her web site. It contains her poetry as well as her paintings and sketches.

That is pretty impressive art. And while I truly believe God is a great inspiration, she would benefit from art lessons under the tutelage of someone with experience.
Where's the poetry?
