ABC News, citing unidentified law enforcement reports, reported on its Web site Tuesday that Barbara Bush's purse and cell phone were taken while she was dining in a Buenos Aires restaurant.

La Nacion newspaper, citing anonymous government sources, said in its online edition early Wednesday that one of Bush's daughters had her purse taken Sunday afternoon in the popular tourist district of San Telmo.

A pair of thieves removed the purse from under a table while Secret Service agents stood guard at a distance, La Nacion reported. La Nacion said its sources did not reveal which of the Bush daughters had her purse stolen.

Those are the kind of hispanics their dad wants coming into this country illegally. All the criminals from mexico make it a goal to leave mexico.

I hope they stole her social security card, US driver's license and other ID, so that all the items can be sold on the fraudulent ID market. It's about time the Bushes experience some of the pain of ID theft that their policies have inflicted on the American people.

The Secret Service are human. You pick your nose or dig in your butt at the wrong time, anything can happen, even if you're Samurai material.

You do the Chihuahua Earthquake dance and hope your butt fat can provide enough relief as it's rubbing cheeks together.

She wasn't "robbed" her purse and cell phone were stolen at a restaurant. Evidently she was unaware of it for quite awhile.

Argentina, and especially Buenos Aires, is about as great a place to visit as you can find.

No. That is unbecoming of a public servant protector. But he can get his partner to give him a devil's wedgie or something. That should relieve the problem, as long as his underwear does not go all the way over his eyes to obscure his view.

DISCLAIMER--

Not meaning to imply that the Bush daughters are public servants. Anybody know?

I thought you were talking about the Secret Service agents, Wolf.

Those are the kind of hispanics their dad wants coming into this country illegally. All the criminals from mexico make it a goal to leave mexico.

But the robbery occurred in Buenos Aires, which--last I heard, anyway--is in Argentina.
