:moo: Thanksgiving's over, & now it's time to get ready for Christmas. I often have the privilege of leading the music at my church, & I've already led a couple of Christmas hymns, "Angels, From the Realms of Glory", & "Come, You Long-Expected Jesus". Now, the most beautiful time of the year is upon us. Colorful lights everywhere, maybe some snow on the ground. We might get some this Wednesday. Won't that be nice? There will be trips to the stores, in hopes of finding that perfect present for that special somebody, & renewing acquaintances with the folks we meet. And there will be parades. We should even make time to attend special services at church. It's time to bust out in a rendition of "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas".

1. What was the last foreign country you visited?
Hickselvania (Right next door to me)
2. When was your last doctor's visit?
I don't believe in Doctors. Any one that makes their living off me being sick, why would I trust them to make me well?
3. When was the last time you had your oil changed?
Is that an euphemism for "sex"? Like "having your salad tossed"?
4. When was the last time you changed your smoke alarm
batteries?
Never, my smoke alarm is solar powered. Like my flash lights.
5. What's your favorite Christmas tree ornament?
My life sized Mr. Hankey Ornament. (I made it myself!)
6. What's your favorite Christmas CD?
It's A Hill-Billy Christmas! with songs like: "Here Comes Rudolph (Quick Git My Gun!)", and "Santa Clause Is Coming To The Lowe's Motor Speedway".
7. When do you start decorating for Christmas?
I don't celebrate Christmas. I celebrate Hanukkah. (I'm not Jewish, I'm a pyromaniac... I just love all those candles!)
8. Does your town have a parade &/or tree-lighting ceremony?
Yes, we generally get the oldest living resident, and string lights around them and their wheel-char and then roll their old bones down Main Street while all 17 residents stand on the side of the road and cheer and throw confetti. The old folk's get a kick out of it, and the children love it! Both of them!
9. Does your church have special Christmas services?
I don't attend a church here.
10. What's your favorite Bette Midler song?
What? Is that hag still alive? What does a guy have to do to have a wish granted around here!?!?!?

 This week's questions:
1. What was the last foreign country you visited?
Canada, the only one I've been to.
2. When was your last doctor's visit?
Late 1980s or early 1990s. I don't remember.
3. When was the last time you had your oil changed?
I always do it myself. It will be due for it soon.
4. When was the last time you changed your smoke alarm batteries?
Never. It's hard-wired to house current.
5. What's your favorite Christmas tree ornament?
I'm not sure I have a favorite. But I have many that I like a lot. One of them is a glass ball with a picture on it of the hotel I work for. I don't remember the others at the moment. It's been 2 or 3 years since I put up my tree.
6. What's your favorite Christmas CD?
I have 3 or 4, but no favorites. I like them all.
7. When do you start decorating for Christmas?
If I do at all, it's within the week before. I have a tabletop tree with a bunch of really nice ornaments for it.
8. Does your town have a parade &/or tree-lighting ceremony?
This township has nothing. Egg Harbor City puts up decorations on the light poles and other things along its main street.
9. Does your church have special Christmas services?
Sorry. I haven't been to one in several years. But every church I ever attended had a Christmas Eve candle-light service.
10. What's your favorite Bette Midler song?
Not my kind of music, plus I don't like her.
