I have no source--so you will just have to take my word for it:
Mice are long known to be the delivery agents of various plagues and outbreaks. Recent unofficial studies from unofficial dorm rooms show that mice with phenylthalimne in their fur, (ex-lax main ingrediant), can piss on any given freedom loving target such as beer and cause a wreck in the party.
Since they are cute and docile--the mice are welcomed and handled in an enamoring fashon. The mice will then rub up against something or everything and promptly piss causing the dermal transfusion of ass blast agent.

or, er, um--at least those of us that raise mice.
