New bf does a job on old bf

The crashing back door snapped Eric Cegon and his girlfriend awake in her apartment. Fear grew as they heard feet rapidly climbing the stairs to their barricaded bedroom door about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Cegon, 30, grabbed the shotgun next to their bed and sat up, hoping the locked door would hold. He said he knew the intruder was the man who had threatened his life and held a knife to his girlfriend a week earlier.

The girlfriend, Samantha Simons, covered up her 2-year-old son and screamed as her ex-boyfriend kicked in the door, knocking over the small dresser lodged against it.

From the story, it appears you did the right thing Mr. Cegon. The scum broke in, and he was armed. You'd have my support were I on your Grand Jury.

Richter is the father of Simons' son.Too bad the girlfriend didn't realize the clown was a jerk before he dropped his DNA into her. I hope the new bf marries her and becomes a better dad to the little boy than what his bio father apparently was.

Funny thing. I read the entire article, and I didn't get "trailer park" out of it.

Did I miss something?

What I did get out of it is this " . . . His deadly break-in was the second time he had violated a court order not to contact his former girlfriend, Simons, or her new boyfriend, Cegon. . . . "

Quite frankly, it doesn't matter if the folks lived in a trailer park or a thrity room beach-front mansion. Their lives were threatened by a man who was under a restraining order, armed, and kicking in doors with the obvious intent to carry out the threat he'd made to kill at least two people.

By some folks standards, this couple may be white trash, but by my standards, even white trash have an absolute right to defend themselves against an individual who would kick in a door and enter a home armed.

I'm unaware of anybody saying trailer trash had no right to self-defense. An absolute, total, complete, 100% God-given right. That's MY standard, and I defy anyone to find a single time or place in my entire life when I've said otherwise.

But they're still trailer trash.
