Gourds

I love gourds...they are fun to grow and then turn into wonderful gifts.
I make angels. I call them gourdian angels....gifts from the earth.

You can do sooooo many neat things with them.

Oh no...I have made some santas, bird houses, little pumpkins, but mainly angels. I take the double round ones and paint them....then I put wings on them with hair and hats.

They are sooooo much fun. The real work is each gourd is like a fine wine. Once its picked it has to harden....this can take up to 6 months to year. After that you gotta scrub the mold off. I do this with bleach. (wears a toxic suit and gloves)

After that its fun all the way down the hill. LOOOOOL
But I have seen some great things done. It is very easy.

LOOOOOOOOL NO and to be honest after living in Nashville I found many Tennesseans didn't like him either. He had a dark past in the senate!
