Quite a blow to America’s worst former president today, as 14 members of the advisory board of the Carter Center resign en masse...

WOW! Even the loons that work for Jimmah can't take the heat of working for this socialist ass. What's the world coming to. :claps:

Jimmeh's lies finally disgusted even them. One just wonders why it took so long.
Little Green Footballs has a good reputation among reliable folk.
Jimmeh Cahtuh has wrecked whatever reputation he had among the Less Dishonest Left (that's as opposed to The Standard Left).

Surprised it wasnt titled "Mass Suicide at the Carter Center." Because being attached to that idiot is the equivalent of putting a gun to your head, pullling the trigger, and hoping you didnt load it.

Too bad it wasn't MASS SUICIDE at the Carter Center.

Too bad Jimmy Carter doesnt share the vision of another crazed "Jimmy" with the last name of "Jones." Maybe he could get all the liberals to drink the Kool-Aid and not the kind that makes you stupid, either.

I want them gone. As in out of and away from this country.
In a perfect world, I would round all liberals and ship them over to Papa Fidel. Hey, they keep drooling about him, so why not send them to the Workers Paradise? Think how happy they would be.

Fox News: Carter Board of Councilors Resignation Letter (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,243131,00.html)
The Honorable Jimmy Carter
The Carter Center
One Copenhill
453 Freedom Parkway
Atlanta, GA 30307
Dear President Carter,
As members of the Board of Councilors each one of us has been proud to be associated with the Carter Center in its noble struggle to repair the world. However, in light of the publication of your latest book Palestine; Peace Not Apartheid and your subsequent comments made in promoting the book, we can no longer in good conscience continue to serve the Center as members of the Board of Councilors.
In its work in conflict resolution the Carter Center has always played the useful and constructive role of honest broker and mediator between warring parties. In your book, which portrays the conflict between Israel and her neighbors as a purely one-sided affair with Israel holding all of the responsibility for resolving the conflict, you have clearly abandoned your historic role of broker in favor of becoming an advocate for one side.
............................
Your book has confused opinion with fact, subjectivity with objectivity and force for change with partisan advocacy. Furthermore the comments you have made the past few weeks insinuating that there is a monolith of Jewish power in America are most disturbing and must be addressed by us. In our great country where freedom of expression is basic bedrock you have suddenly proclaimed that Americans cannot express their opinion on matters in the Middle East for fear of retribution from the “Jewish Lobby” In condemning the Jews of America you also condemn Christians and others for their support of Israel. Is any interest group to be penalized for participating in the free and open political process that is America? Your book and recent comments suggest you seem to think so.
..........................
Sincerely,
Alan Abrams
Steve Berman
Michael Coles
Jon Golden
Doug Hertz
Barbara Babbit Kaufman
Liane Levetan

The thing that stuns me is that it took this particular bunch of Jews this long to see through this Anti-Semitic Georgia Asshole.
The reason they've been at the Carter Center for as long as they have is that they're Jewish Intellectuals. Read: Lace Panty Liberals.
You'd hope that the Jewish Community, sooner or later, would wake up and come to the party. Conservative Republicans are their biggest supporters. If the fate of Israel had been left up to the Democrats, Israel would have ceased to exist a couple of decades ago.
Roosevelt Democrats. That what the majortiy of Jews in this nation are.
The way that Jews and Blacks stick with the Democrats just makes me crazy.
EDIT: NT, I think the point he's making is that at least a few people of the Jewish Faith have awakened to what a anti-semitic pissant Carter is.

I for one am glad someone is exposing the old fraud for what he is. Gosh I would love to have been a fly on the wall and seen his reaction to that letter. Bravo to the Board of Councilors.

Well, you see, as illogical as it may seem, many Americans Jews are actually anti-Israel. They are pacifists and are in the forefront of the peace movement. That's why they don't care that conservative Republicans are the staunchest supporters of Israel. They're not at all.

However, everyone I have ever known with the last names of Schwartz, Kaufman, and Steinberg were German. Also, the only Golden I can think of is black (James Golden - Rush's Bo Snerdly). He also failed to mention Berman - likely a Jewish name (the Berman I know is Jewish). My point was that one shouldn't necessarily conclude a person's ethnicity based on a last name.

True, but it's sort of like seeing LaToya and not guessing at the ethnicity. Sometimes you just can't help yourself.

My experience is quite different. Every Schwartz, Kaufman, and Steinberg I've known was Jewish (only knew of the Steinberg), and everyone I've ever known whose name had "gold" or "silver" or "berg" or "stein" in it was Jewish. The one "burg" I've known was Gentile.
I know that historically, plenty of bergs and steins were Germans.
Seabee
01-12-2007, 08:21 PM
Point was what Lubbock said. Also, there was little thing commonly known as a German-Jew many of which immigrated to the U.S. Some were Bergs and Steins. Remember a little guy with crazy hair and really smart by the name of Ein-STEIN????

The only 'fictitious spoofs' I'm seeing over there was the one they broke when Dan Rather tried to pawn off a fake national guard memo a week before an election. Or their expose on Pallywood. Or their work on disassembling the fake AP photos in Lebanon. Or their work on Green Helmet Guy. Or Zombie's first class work on tearing apart the UN vehicle that was supposedly bombed by Israel. Or them shredding the propaganda about Israel shelling a Gaza beach. Or translating Al Manar, or showing what's being preached inside mosques, or IOW doing the real stories that the so-called news media lacks the nuts to report.
I don't know any LGF 'fictitious spoofs'. I need you to help me figure that out.

Next, we'll hear that liberals repudiate Blow Job Clinton. Some things are just too good to be taken without the proverbial dose of salt.

I think the fallout over this one is going to be worse than a nukleaaar winter. The Peanut may retain some of his credibility with the very far left mongoloids. But the mainstream politicians are going to have to distance themselves from him for their political survival. Regardless of whether they agree with him or not.

Jimmeh got my blood boiling when I had to work my way through college in "the worst economy since Herbert Hoover".
For those of you who weren't around then, unemployment was 10.8%, mortgage interest rates were 16%, inflation was rampant, and the SECOND gas shortage required I wait in line for 3 hours.
I believe it bears repeating, because the democrats controlled all areas of government at the time.

I tried posting there years ago. I was banned on my first post. The moderator said I was a freak. I looked at the picture of the guy who banned me. He had a handlebar mustache circe Burt Reynolds in Cannonball Run & rode a moped. That was enough for me to know that the problem wasn't with mua.

Of course, unlike the Onion, LGF usually puts a disclaimer prominently within the article, but people like to repost the stuff without the disclaimers sometimes, so you sometimes wonder.

It's a cool little toy, but for the price ($4500+), there are much more practical toys (like a bad-ass computer ;) ).
The Segway Centaur (http://www.segway.com/products/centaur/) is a gadget-lover's nirvana, but it's not available.
Apparently, the thing started slowly but is doing fairly well now (http://www.boston.com/business/articles/2006/06/22/sales_on_a_roll_segway_considers_going_public/). And there are carrying bags and cases among the accessories (http://www.segway.com/products/accessories.html).
Speaking of major-league thread drifts ...
