Combine this with his cuts in our overseas intel programs and its a double whammy. And the problem with intel cuts is that you can't just get those back whenever you want. Intel and the relationships used to build trust takes years to rebuild.

And that's the real problem with libs in general. Go to Daily Kos. They don't think we have enemies. So, they dramatically and hysterically create internal ones here. And meanwhile our real enemies become emboldened by our own political chaos, in-fighting and divisions.

The world has always had wars and will always have more to come. Clinton as well as a lot in the media believed that the Russian economic implosion was Isaiah's prophecy where the lion will lay down with the lamb. Bullshit. Why do libs not believe in history? They're idiots. Lefties are morons. 'Progressives', by their very name, believe that they are the new dawn of a new tommorrow. That we've progressed beyond war. That yesterday means nothing about today. Its narcisscism. Everything Kerry says about how awful our military is blots out the reality of why our military is necessary. Its non-cosmopolitan. His comments do not accurately reflect the real face of global evil. To Kerry, communism isn't worth fighting nor is islamism. In fact, with Kerry as well as Clinton, these forces are not worth combating because nothing is worth fighting for. That's what gutting the military means. It means that the West is not worthy of defending. Historical threats never change even though the players do. Either the left are historical morons or they don't care about perserving Western values or perhaps a mixture of the two.

Very true and insightful Wyatt. The intelligence issue is one that goes back to Jimmy "THE PEANUT" Carter. Guts in the intelligence community have been prevelant in every Presidency ,up to but not including, Bush 2. People feared the CIA and the power it could broker as seen in Vietnam with the shadow government they formed. But, those folks are long gone or dead and it is time for a renewal of our human intelligence assets. Sats and third hand information just arent going to cut it on toadys battlefields. The CIA, DIA, NSA, Homeland Security etc. are a main reason why we are somewhat safe nowadays and all we get from the left and the likes of the ACLU is that they are infringing on our civil liberties, I say bullshit. Because of cuts to the intel community, present day intelligence gatherers are seperated from their 60's and 70's counterparts by a generation or two of experience in human intelligence. We are behind the power curve and now is not the time to be re-learning what we should have been perfecting.

Concerning the left, it is my opinion that they want to keep us blind. That way no one can percieve a potential threat, thereby forcing them to act against it. They are inherent cowards when it come to foreign policy, always wanting to negotiate because it makes them look "good" to rest of the world. They treat their position as one of "popularity" rather than responsibility. This can be seen in Clinton's refusal to either kill or capture Bin Laden, 3 times, for fear it would upset the House of Suad. The world to the "Dimwitted Ones" is like high school, not cold hard reality.
