The Democrats, ladies and gentlemen, have already started their implosion. Nancy Pelosi has exempted StarKist tuna, which is actually Del Monte, from the minimum wage bill. They are in her district, Del Monte is in San Francisco, and the StarKist tuna factory on American Samoa, which employs about 500 Samoans, and it's I guess 75% of the island's workforce, they have a minimum wage there of $3 and something, and they have been exempted from the new minimum wage law by Nancy Pelosi.
Pelosi then told Chuck Rangel (summarized exchange), "Hey, look, get going on that tax increase for people who make half a million dollars or more," and Rangel said, "Screw it! I'm not doing that. This is not the time to start talking about taxes, and if we do this, I'm going to have hearings." She said, "No, you're not going to have hearings. You're just going to do it. He said, "No," and he had hearings anyway in private, "this is not time to talk about this."
Charles Rangel is butting heads now with Nancy Pelosi, just a week into the new Congress controlled by their party, This is, by the way, an exclusive to the New York Post. "Rangel yesterday swatted down a tax hike that Pelosi has floated, and he made an end run around her decision to bypass House committees in a rush to bring bills to a vote. 'There's a lot of tension there,' one Democratic lawmaker said of the relationship between Rangel and Pelosi."

Rangel may be a kook--and I think there's a lot of evidence that he is--but so long as he is a thorn in Nancy P's side, he's a useful one.

I thought it was Babs Boxer who made questionable remarks to Condi. Did her friend Nancy also make some similar comments?

It was Boxer. A member of the three stooges. Boxer, Feinstein and Pelosi.
What is it with California, anyway??

Bitch is a disaster walking around happening everywhere at the same time.Ya know what this reminds me of? Remember when Clinton was first elected -The first year they couldn't keep a sock in Hillary's mouth... She went from one embarrassing Marxist public pronouncement to the next... Liberal activists in power are crazy right out of the chute, but nothing compares to a Marxist woman activist drunk with power for pure family entertainment...
And now it appears that there is a not-so-secret war going on between Hillary "Madame Mao" Clinton and the new hen in the house for title of most pwerful woman in America... Pelosi should watch her back - People who inconvenience the Clintons tend to show up dead in Washington DC parks - Or just stop showing up at all...
My money is on Hillary... I don't think Pelosi has the ruthlessness to play in the big leagues with the Clinton gang...
Good point. I can't tell the difference between Barb-in-her-Boxers and Bela Pelosi.:rotflmbo: Bela Pelosi...:roar: I love it!!!! You should email that one to Rush - It's just the type of comic nickname he likes to tag these liberals with...

Is there a link to this exemption the Hellbitch is giving StarKist? I would like us to keep a record of links to her two faced lying. It will be a book in no time.
PS What about the baby dolphins, Nancy? WHAT ABOUT THEM????

I think it was Maggie who invented "Bela" Pelosi.

Actually, most of California is a pretty moderate to conservative place. Boxer, Pelosi, and Feinstein (along with Pete Stark and a few others of their ilk) all come from the Bay Area, and there are several pockets of flaming liberalism that dominate politics in the Golden State. It wouldn't surprise me if they have rigged a number of elections in districts they were going to win anyway to make their majorities seem much larger than they really were.

I think it was Maggie who invented "Bela" Pelosi.
I wish I could take credit for that. No, it was Mike Savage who came up with the name.
I call Pelosi The Drum on account of her face being stretched tighter than a drum after so much surgery.

Of course.
This will not be widely reported by the MSM.

One wonders when the liberals will throw off their, er, "modesty" and start taking credit for helping out giants like StarKist, Soros, Trump, et al. I mean, even Goliath needed friends and these poor bastids are all lonely up there at the top, isolated from all those nasty little people down there (this means YOU!), eating garlic to keep the other bloodsuckers off and porking airhead beauty contestants.
Life's, er, hard at the zenith. Air's thin. Girls skinny. Footing slippery. Loyalties nonexistent.
God nowhere to be seen, of course

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi yesterday said Democrats will close a loophole in the House-passed minimum wage increase that exempts American Samoa -- an action taken after it was revealed that one of the U.S. territory's main employers is based in her congressional district.
"I have asked the Education and Labor Committee as they go forward with the legislation to make sure that all of the territories have to comply with U.S. law on the minimum wage," Mrs. Pelosi said.
The decision follows criticism over the exemption, reported earlier this week by The Washington Times, to allow tuna canneries in American Samoa to continue paying $3.26 an hour -- nearly $4 less than the $7.25 minimum wage passed by the House Wednesday.
Republicans, after the vote, pointed out that StarKist Tuna, one of two companies that employs about 75 percent of the Samoan work force, is owned by Del Monte, which is headquartered in Mrs. Pelosi's San Francisco district.Pelosi moves to close Samoa wage loophole (http://www.washingtontimes.com/national/20070113-122725-2957r.htm)
Factoid: It's reported that Paul Pelosi, the witch's husband, owns $17 million of DelMonte (parent company of StarKist) stock.

If she does this, there goes American Samoa for the Democrats. StarKist will relocate to Vietnam or some other shithole and all them jobs will be gone.
