5-Year-Old Searches For Help After Parents Killed in Truck

SAN FRANCISCO — A gunman fatally shot a couple in their pickup truck, forcing their blood-spattered 5-year-old son to leave his baby sister and wander the neighborhood in search of help.

Police have made no arrests in the slayings, but have said the couple apparently knew their killer, who was seen by neighbors fleeing on foot from the scene.....http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,243883,00.html

But look at the bright side. Very few criminals are getting their asses blown away by their victims, eh? Not too many lawsuits, not too much money being extort-, er, uh, I mean, awarded by judges to the bad guys who get injured in their efforts.

If they catch the criminal, I hope he gets the needle. Oh, wait a minute, the S.F. DA won't seek the death penalty in murder cases, no matter how horrific--and California will probably have abandoned capital punishment in practice if not in law by the time the perp is prosecuted (if he ever is, that is).
