Cool Game from the Army

It's called America's Army. It's a first person shooter that was developed for the Army apparently as a way to market the Army to the online crowd. It takes you through a stripped down Basic Training and AIT. Once you get through the basic training, you can go online and play with and against other people. I downloaded and installed it a few weeks ago and have been getting my pride turned into swiss cheese on a regular basis. Sounds like fun?

I believe the game was about a 2 gig download. So it really helps to have high speed internet for both the download and online play. There are some Army servers as well as some leased servers. Some game servers require a password (perhaps they charge). I have found several though that don't require a password.

Its a good game if you know what you are doing. You have to go to the advanced training to really get into the fun stuff. Escape and evasion is the hardest training but it lets you use the cool weapons later on.http://www.freeconservatives.com/vb/images/icons/gun.gif

I played this one all the way from version 1.23 to 2.2 then I finally got fed up with all the rudeness that was allowed on the army servers. For free, not a bad game.

There a server called Christian Soldiers (It's also a clan [CS]). No profanity or implied profanity allowed.

I played this game for about a year until my comp became obsolete and could barely run the program. But it honestly is a really FUN game.
