WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Former presidential candidate Ralph Nader (http://search.news.yahoo.com/search/news/?p=Ralph%0ANader) on Sunday left the door open for another possible White House bid in 2008 and criticized Democratic front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton (http://search.news.yahoo.com/search/news/?p=Hillary+Rodham+Clinton) as "a panderer and a flatterer."

Asked on CNN's Late Edition news program if he would run in 2008, the lawyer and consumer activist said, "It's really too early to say. ... I'll consider it later in the year."

Nader, 72, said he did not plan to vote for Clinton, a Democratic senator from New York and former first lady.

"I don't think she has the fortitude. Actually she's really a panderer and a flatterer. As she goes around the country, you'll see more of that," Nader said.Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070204/pl_nm/usa_politics_nader_dc;_ylt=Aj6gWv07TX9_3poGf3GosXW MwfIE;_ylu=X3oDMTA4NGRzMjRtBHNlYwMxNjk5)

Don't be surprised if Ralph gets a "Top 10 Conservative Idiot of the Week (http://journals.democraticunderground.com/top10)" award someday from DU.

Oh he'll run... Activists have no political sense, and in truth he really has no illusions about winning the Whitehouse... He's strictly in the race to force the far left issues on those candidates who, as he put it correctly, "pander" to the voters they cant possibly win...

Actually Im very grateful to Nader for holding their feet to the fire... And in a completely honest way, I admire Nader because at least he's consistant and honest... And at least he's not making an assof himself like Mama Sheehan - At least he tries to change the national direction using the political system in the way it was meant to be used...

Of course this does make him a spoiler for the Dems, but I'd much prefer the fight be a plain, honest debate between Liberal and Conservative values, and not this disgusting dishonest middle-of-the-road whitewash we see from both parties...

I would love to see the general election be a campaign between Nader and Tancredo...

In Nader v. Tancredo, Tancredo wins by a landslide.

Nader is a raghead.

I absolutely agree... Because the majority of American voters are still basicly conservative, and Tancredo takes the common sense position on all the issues - a novel new approach for contemporary politicians...
