... The Democrats are in the throes of a full-fledged Vietnam flashback. Even if the Bush “surge” works, Democrats will stay committed to ending the war — just as Democrats cut off the war in Vietnam in the mid-1970s, even as it had been put on a more sustainable footing. The party has regressed all the way to its McGovernite roots. The centrist Clintonite interlude of the 1990s is almost entirely washed away, with the Clintonite candidate — Hillary — trying not to get washed away with it.

The Democrat (no -ic) Party is owned by the Soros/Moore/Move-On lunatics. It's in free-fall.

Clintonites are "centrists"? Only to the hardcore left.Bill posed as a centrist/moderate Democrat, but if you connect the dots, you know full well he wasn't. He would align his most well-known policies with the majority opinion of Americans to appear moderate, but behind your back, he would drift off to the far left.

* Socialized Medicine proposal
* Nominating Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the ACLU for SCOTUS
* Two vetos on Partial Birth Abortion bans
* Partying with Kim Jong Il in North Korea
* First president to invite a terrorist in the White House (Yassir Arafat)
* First president accused of rape

You can expect similar behavior from the Infected Yeast of the East, Hillary Rotten Clinton. Only, I'd expect much worse. She has a much more liberal track record than her husband.

Who in hell was the first moron to use the term "troop surge"? What a vanilla description for a troop increase.

I don't think it's any worse than what the Army itself does. In the Nineties they didn't "surge," they "ramped up."

Who in hell was the first moron to use the term "troop surge"? The wife of the first troop to get a woody?
